That was a nice single leg switch, but the prankster should have tried locking in a guillotine on the way down. If you look at the first strike he actually seems to land a really nice elbow. The shock, concussion effect, how the hell did a normal airbag blow him that high up? Maybe with tires there, there was nowhere for the force of the explosion to go anywhere but up? Think about what that kind of impact being blown skyward like that (and the impact with the ground was nothing to sneeze at either) would do to your back.
