  1. That's a really cool story! Crazy how things work out and the turn of events
  2. I had Gil winning round 1 for sure, and then 2 and 3 I thought were in Gil's favor but not too convincingly. Before they announced the decision I thought Benson would win because Gil didn't do enough to "beat the champion" and "take the belt", and I expected a UD for Benson 48-47. Did not expect the SD.

  4. Not really "owned" but I figure some of us would watch this and get owned ourselves like I did haha It's the extended trailer for a new horror game coming out. I'm actually extremely proud of myself for finishing the whole video. Also I didn't know where else to post this
  5. Game of Thrones for sure. House of Cards has all intrigue and drama of Washington politics plus Kevin Spacey being awesome and having fun, and it's David Fincher's brainchild. I started and finished all of BBC's Sherlock in one Sunday. Brilliantly written and a fantastic cast. Last but definitely not the least, Downton Abbey is really interesting and classy as ****. Prequel to the Robert Altman movie Gosford Park. Also to throw some oldies in there, if you haven't gotten into Arrested Development then you should do it, especially with the new season being released all at once on Netflix in May. Also, FIREFLY. It's only 1 season, but it's my comfort show along with AD. I can watch either and be 100% happy.
  6. Condit cracking up when Diaz says "wolf tickets" along with GSP's confused face, priceless. And then GSP asks Condit what "wolf tickets" means and then gets pissed off about it enough to say something. Hendricks got a single question and Diaz didn't even give a ****, he just started talking hahaha. I agree with others on here that Diaz just moves in circles, getting upset and then apologizing and saying GSP is the best fighters, and then getting pissed again since "who knows how they test here" *mic drop* *lean back*. Also maybe it's just me but GSP looks smaller than Diaz. I know GSP has a lot of lower body muscle and Diaz does not. GSP's also always been super cut
  7. UFC 158 Georges St. Pierre vs. Nick Diaz: The Achilles Heel of Stockton's Pride Very interesting Jack Slack article. ---------- Post added March-7th-2013 at 05:58 PM ---------- GSP and Diaz GO AT IT in the conference call. Very very worth listening to haha. The main **** starts after 25 min or so. Actually it's more just Nick going off and GSP responding too but it's entertaining as hell.
  8. ^ I'm glad they cleared up the Nick Diaz fiasco. Hopefully things go smoothly until fight night. Honestly I won't fully believe Diaz/GSP is happening until they lock the Octagon and Bruce Buffer starts his introductions MMA Junkie: WANT TO AVOID A PINK SLIP? FIGHT LIKE UFC 157'S MATT GRICE, WHITE SAYS
  9. Rousey/Liz will most likely get FOTN now over Bermudez/Grice, maybe well deserved too for history's sake, it was very exiting and entertaining.
  10. The more I think about it the more awesome the Hendo/Machida matchup becomes. Machida's stance and technique is so badass, and Hendo is just badass in general. I watched the Fedor and Shogun fights today again and Dan Henderson is definitely one of the most entertaining fighters of all time. I think Machida can do better against Jon Jones than Hendo can though, especially Machida's second time at JJ. ---------- Post added February-23rd-2013 at 10:03 PM ---------- Holy **** Bermudez/Grice, incredible fight.
  11. Koscheck via UD Neer via TKO round 3 Faber via UD Machida via TKO round 2 Rousey via flying heel hook (if not then armbar) at the end of round 1 KOTN Machida SOTN Kenny Robertson with that ridiculous tapout in the FB prelims FOTN Rousey/Carmouche or Machida/Hendo
  12. Condit/Hendricks is pretty exciting, and Hendricks will be all but due a shot at GSP if he wins. Sucks that the event lost a great fight though, although Rory will probably fight Carlos eventually anyways. 158 needs another good main event matchup now.
  13. Nedkov/Watson was awesome Who is that ring girl?? My god....
  14. It's weird that the main card, for me in Chicago, starts at 7pm! I'm used to 10pm cards... Thankfully I have a dinner party to go to tonight anyways so I'm DVRing it and will watch it when I get back. This card should be awesome. Quick predictions: Benson Henderson © vs. Nate Diaz: Oh my goodness. Ben said in the press conference that he and Nate are both aggressive fighters who like to come forward, and I think the general MMA viewer forgot about Ben's skillset because of the Edgar fights. Ben said a fighter as elusive as Edgar makes coming forward very difficult, which is obviously true. Both guys will bring it. Nate will be his usual Stockton Slapfest self and come with volume punches, and Ben will stop the takedowns and most likely kick the **** out of Nate's legs. I don't want this to go to decision, and my brain says it will. However, my heart wants Nate to win via submission. Any submission. In the end, I think the leg kicks will slow down Nate's punches and Benson will grind out a unanimous decision, with FOTN honors. I'm prepared for a bloody fight. If Nate can sub Ben, then it will also win SOTN. Mauricio Rua vs. Alexander Gustafsson: Shogun.... the ultimate warrior. Alex will have his hands full... This is a toss up since I can see Shogun out mauling Alex but Alex is no slouch either. I'll stick with the Jon Jones theory and go with ambition over experience, and pick Gustufsson via TKO (elbows) in the 3rd. B.J. Penn vs. Rory MacDonald: Should be the second to last fight IMO. I like both fighters a lot, and Rory against Che and Mike Pyle was an absolute machine of a fighter. He will hit BJ hard... BJ lost all hope halfway through the second round of the Diaz fight, you could see it in his eyes and his demeanor, although he was still connecting and landing major shots on Nick. Nick completely messed BJ's face up, and I think the same will happen here. There was a point where I felt like BJ though "wtf do I have to do to put this guy away... this is NOT worth it." The same thing will happen against Rory. Rory's GnP is really dangerous and accurate. Rory wins this by TKO in the 2nd.. KOTN. BJ retires for good. Mike Swick vs. Matt Brown: I'm not all that impressed with Brown, and I want Swick to win, so Swick by UD.
  15. Garza ****ed him up... that was a little sad because I wanted to see Hominick put up a fight
  16. Beautiful technique by Menjivar Holy ****, on replay the dude's arm was extremely extended... Good prelim fights so far.
  17. Pablo Garza Also, breaking news Bad news, Nick Ring sick, fight with Costa Philippou cancelled. http://www.ufc.ca/news/Nick-Ring-Out-of-154
