Wonder about trading a pick (a 2nd?) to someone for a solid/good tackle, particularly one of the teams that are in range to draft one of the top tackles in the 1st.  They replace their tackle and shed cap space, we can afford giving up the pick and contract.  Accelerated guaranteed money becomes a factor, though I’d guess that could be worked around.  Not sure if this is better than us giving up two 2nds (or whatever) to move up…

That's Tyron Smith? The big, massive, humongous NFL left tackle??? He looks like he is a lean, athletic 220 pound wr!!!!

Nah, Zona has enough picks.  It’s for the Chargers pick.  They have been rumored to be open for business to trade down.  Bolts can still get their desired RT at 11

I think Arizona are locked in on Harrison at #4 and it will take a boat load of picks to move the out of that spot.

He’s a huge, freakish man. He doesn’t need to add any fat to his body to get to 320.

Hoffman said last night using I believe it was the Jimmy Johnson trade value, packaging the two 2nd round picks takes you to #13.  I didn't think it would go that high.  If so that might out Fashanu, Latham in range.

I hope they give up their first 2nd and middle 3rd.  It should take them to mid/late 20s and they can nab a LT, but they need insurance.  My take is they need to go big on Smith on a 1-year deal.

NFL network likes Frankie Luvu as an under-the-radar impact FA signing and it's tough to disagree.

But if I'm going even deeper I have to say Allegretti really intrigues me. I know there's some talk about him maybe being a swing guard/backup but he seems to me rather determined to earn that starting LG spot and I think he will. Love that signing.

There’s a fake Tyron Smith twitter account going around right now that is clearly a Cowboys fan yearning for his return, and pretending to be him.

If anyone in here gets duped and posts a tweet from that account, I think we should throw medium-sized rocks at them

Unfortunately you got got, and now we have to throw medium-sized rocks at you

Jefferson to the Bengals maybe.

Minny get Tee Higgins plus a first rounder and another significant pick.

That would stack Minny with firsts.

Didn’t work out so well for them last time they had 3 1sts lol. It was recently, weirdly.

Hearing they also interested in Scooter if he comes down in price.

Just saw today that Dak Prescott is under investigation by Dallas police for a sexual assault. There are big problems in Dallas right now.

I heard Hoffman saying that, as well. No chance. Maybe a shot at getting in to the mid 20's, perhaps. That trade chart isn't gospel, and a team will probably demand a future 2025 pick (1st or 2nd) to drop all the way out of the 1st.

Trying to find a historic equivalent, this is the closest I found from 2022.  If no 3rd coming back, I could see 36, 78 getting to 22-24ish.  Although that includes Philly and Dallas (and Minnesota's new pick) so may lower the chances for that.  Maybe if Chargers get it they will pick with 11 and want to trade back from the 23...  lots of options there.

The draft value chart gives you some decent baselines but values are relative to the context of their specific draft.

If a talent like Bowers or Fashanu are available, it'll cost more to trade up.

Disclaimer: I take all claims seriously until they are thoroughly investigated and/or litigated.

However, the details of this particular story are kind of sketchy, at first glance:

1. The incident in question happened 7 years ago.

2. The victim's attorney, after years passed apparently without complaint, recently sent Dak and his representative(s) a demand letter  stating that she would sign a NDA and not go public, if they received a consideration of $100,000,000.00. (Yes, $100 million dollars was formally requested from Dak in writing.)

3. The victim didn't report the incident to the police until after Dak announced a lawsuit.
