Was just saying what I heard him say in the clip from Get Up from this morning, which is what I thought was being referenced in the past few pages. He never said that he was told anything and his exact words were "What didn't seem to go over too well with the Agent for Jayden Daniels... who sounded off on social media last night, wasn't pleased with the process" I might be missing the other clip/tweet where Schefter clearly said he's being told something by Daniel's camp if that is what you're referencing

I watched the clip from Get Up with Schefter saying what he did and all he did was recap what we all witnessed on Twitter with Daniel's agent. You guys did a better job on this thread of recapping the blow by blow. Did not seem like he was passing on information fed to him. Makes me think Schefty & Co. getting frustrated with not being plugged in to this org like he used to be.

I'm sure this was posted somewhere within this thread but is there a list of the edge rushers and their 3 cone times that someone could post? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I will say this, there is usually some follow up in the news cycle window by now so the silence from everyone (JD's camp, media members, team officials) at this point seems a little odd. Pretty odd tactic by them as JD's camp could have let Commies know their preferences privately w/out making said agent and his client look like boobs.

The one thing that sort of gets lost in the 20 player "night out" thing is that it was NOT the only portion of the team visit as a lot of the narrative tries to suggest. In the example of the QBs, they met with coaches, front office, etc. during the day. I believe it was two the first day, then the night out w/everyone, then the other two QBs the next day.

This narrative has been slowly peaking it's head out of the sand over the past few weeks. Doesn't take away from the overall depth of the class, which I and many others still believe is deep; however, the amount of blue chip/can't miss prospects is less than we thought. Seems like Fashanu's drop was just the tip of the iceberg. I think the difference between for example a Tyler Guyton and Patrick Paul is not as much as we've been lead to believe. I actually think this favors Washington and maybe prevents giving up draft capital and just stick & pick an OT who they grade close to the others that may have been picked in the first round.

How many prospects visited the past couple of days? Was it more than just the 4 QBs?
-
Was listening to Bucky Brooks & Daniel Jeremiah on Move the Sticks and also Randy Mueller and Mike tanenbaum pm various other shows and they ALL mentioned how these visits were used for every reason you could think of and it wasn't only a last look at who they MAY end up taking. Really interesting in how the predraft process works

The negative feeling is because this particular team is picking at the top so the scrutiny is THAT much more intense. I know people who are Panther fans who were agonizing in much the same way last season before the draft. If Commies were picking 11, I think most would be much more inclined to point out the positives and the upside of the prospects. Objectively speaking, it is a perfectly fine QB draft class when compared to most years. Let's hope the guy they pick is THAT dude.

Really like Mims. Lack of starts is a REAL concern so I won't minimize that and I understand the trepidation about it. He played really well in the limited starts, he's a great athlete, strong, and can move. Reminds me a lot of Tyron Smith in terms of body, thick and built with no unecessary fat, bulk.

I think this is an underrated roster building move most are not talking about (understandably) that I believe will be clearer once the draft is over. An apprentice to Wagner that can be properly developed and, most notably, given time to grow in the MLB position down the road. Considering how fast the game is evolving, I feel pretty clueless as to what defenses will want to deploy in the years ahead on the 2nd level of defenses. Hopefully, Peters & Co. have some excellent foresight on this.

That is kind of where I am. He looked very unathletic, but I'm no scout so I figured I was missing something. The kid from Arizona, MacLachlan looks like an interesting day 3 prospect

Is Sanders highly regarded (relatively speaking) amongst most of this board? Looks slow and lumbering to me, but I'm sure I'm missing something.
