  1. Tanner McLachlan, TE Arizona. Has anyone here watched any meaningful amount of film on him? I don't have access to all 22's, but any highlight vidz I watch intrigue me. Longer, leaner body type, but seems to be able to move really well. Day 3 developmental guy, perhaps??
  2. I'm assuming they have more visits than that? I've been fooled by the team visit thing before. They don't necessarily target these guys, but most notably, have incomplete evaluations of those specific players that they want to fill out.
  3. That UNC OL did no one any favors, but that is not exactly what I was referring to or saw. There would be spaces for Maye to slide, climb the pocket, etc, but then he'd just sort of bump himself into a linemen or he'd climb and step into a throw with an interior linemen getting pushed back. Again, so much to like with him but head scratching stuff also
  4. The bolded part is the BIG worry for me as pocket presence and being able to navigate a dirty pocket while looking downfield is typically not something that can develop over time but is more of an innate quality.
  5. Just a thought as we are all trying to make conclusions from body language, facial expressions, dinner dates, etc. between Commie brass and the QB prospects. First, one thing I know about DQ is that EVERYBODY who interacts with him seems to really like and get along with him, so his sunny disposition with Maye in those pics could just be his his resting DQ face. Secondly, top 30 player visits, dinners, or any sort of non pro day/combine interactions can be due both to heavy interest in the prospect, but could also be because their evaluations on that prospect are very incomplete so they are tying up loose ends there. None of the interactions with Maye would lead me to believe in anything definitive, other than he's one of the handful of dudes that are in the running at #2.
  6. Obviously, this is just a fan's perspective... But the TE talent is really uninspiring in this year's draft class. I do believe good NFL TE's can be unearthed and developed over time so there is a glass half full factor there. As far as Commies go, I wonder what the health of Rogers is looking like as it has been quite a long time since he was hurt so he should be full go for team activities. Cole Turner I've sort of lost all hope for at this point.
  7. Lumbering and not-twitched up is how I described Sanders to friends a few weeks ago. I feel vindicated.
  8. Not a friggin clue other than what they did with Lucas in terms of short term. OT seems a lot like QB, lots of demand and barely any inventory.
  9. Or maybe the long term answer at LT doesn't come this offseason.
  10. So, I don't feel qualified enough to make any certain evaluations on players; but, every single time I watched McCarthy play and he was asked to actually do something, he usually did it really well. Also, looked to me like he could move. I thought he looked slight, but he does also look like he could get heavier whereas, I have my doubts about Daniels having the frame to support more mass. In the end, I don't know what's going on lol
  11. Is there access to all-22 tape of players that is fairly simple for the public to bring up and look at? Just asking cuz I'm seeing a lot of posts of "I just watched player X" and it sounds like they are not looking at just highlights. Looking for Endzone views, not TV copy. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  12. Thank you, I don't know much about him and it is always good practice to kick the tires on 1st round talents in case you feel your staff could unlock the potential (per Ron Wolf, former packers GM). But sometimes, the juice isn't worth the squeeze
  13. They should listen to trade offers for EVERYBODY; however, doesn't mean they should bite on said offers unless they are ones you can't refuse. You want Terry, Steeler FO? Then pony up. On another note, is Mekhi Becton worth kicking the tires on as far as a RT possibility or swing backup for OT, G positions? Given the market at this point of free agency, could be a low risk, high reward prove it signing for them. Given he fits scheme, etc., of course.
  14. OT felt a lot like DE at the beginning of free agency in terms of not even having average starters to fill in for most of season 1 of Quinn's regime. It still feels like that, so even bargain basement swing tackles would be welcome at this point. Is Lucas still on the roster and available? I thought he was a good backup that would fit this role.
  15. I heard Hoffman saying that, as well. No chance. Maybe a shot at getting in to the mid 20's, perhaps. That trade chart isn't gospel, and a team will probably demand a future 2025 pick (1st or 2nd) to drop all the way out of the 1st.
  16. Wait a gosh darn minute... You're telling that the guy Snyder hired as head of player personnel, who had never had any experience in that role, but was given that position as a sweetener to lure him here wasn't good at player personell-ing?
