What about a new owner after 20+ years of ***clownery?

We get hope and optimism. It ain’t much, but it’s something.

Yeah but he was probably drunk at all of the home games this year and we didn't even get one of those goofy animated gifs of him dancing/cheering like an idiot.

He's slacking!

Not great for Howell. Great for our draft position.

I think league opinion on Howell is a lot higher than a lot of people here realize. Actually, a lot of our players have potential.

EB coaching Howell was like giving a 2 yo cigarettes and forcing him to smoke them all.

We've gone from NFL Siberia--where we have to choose from Has-Beens and Never-Going-to-Bes, to a place that "feels like that place where everybody wants to be, everybody wants to go."

Night and day difference.

Larry "Wild Weasel" Izzo...

Make sure you watch to the end when Izzo explains how he got his nickname in college by biting the head off if a road kill wild weasel on a dare!

He uses it in training camp to weed out what he calls true Neanderthals from civilized players-- anyone willing to bite the head off a dead weasel gets a "True Neanderthal" t-shirt  along with special parking and drinking privleges.

Might have been mentioned here before, but didn't know if everyone knew ...

Ken Norton Jr's dad was once Heavyweight Champion.

Beat a guy named Muhammad Ali.

Remember him as a player celebrating in end zone by sparring with the goal post paying homage to his Dad.

Ron Rivera has been officially replaced on the NFL Competition Committee.

Sean McVay and Sean McDermott have been added to the powerful committee.

In the past, when a respected, long standing committee member  has been seperated from his former team they've  often been allowed to retain their committee membership, for at least a year, until they get hired by another team.

This was the case for Rich McKay (the current committee chairman) and Jeff Fisher (who is no longer a member), among others.

Membership on the Competition Committee is one of the most coveted and sought after honors a coach or chief executive can obtain.

Members have the opportunity and responsibility to protect, adapt, and influence, how the game is played and officiated.

"Sean McDermott and Sean McVay added to NFL Competition Committee

The NFL Competition Committee will have two new members taking part in meetings at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis next week.

The league announced that Bills head coach Sean McDermott and Rams head coach Sean McVay have joined the group. The committee reviews all competitive aspects of the game, including potential changes to playing rules, player safety issues, officiating, the use of technology, roster regulations, and other aspects of gameday operations.

Among the issues that the committee is expected to discuss this offseason are kickoffs and a possible ban on hip-drop tackles.

Falcons president Rich McKay chairs the committee, which also includes Bengals executive vice president Katie Blackburn, Dolphins General Manager Chris Grier, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones, Giants co-owner John Mara, and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin."
