For comparison sake, the KC Chiefs had 11 guys (non specialists) who were on their team from 2019-2022.

I’d guess:

Howell, Robinson, McLaurin, Dotson, Paul, Allen, Mathis, Young, Swear, Davis, Forest, Butler

I gotta find another mid type team who hired a new staff. Broncos of 2019 might be it with Fangio in might be the best most recent comparison

This was an interesting exercise, but really hard to predict, considering the franchise is up for sale.  I'm really hoping the new owner doesn't blow up everything... but I've seen that kind of thing happen before.

I'm just hoping the baby doesn't get swept out with the bath water.

Will almost certainly be here - McLaurin, Dotson, Allen, Robinson, Davis, Forrest

Most likely - Mathis, Butler, Turner, Howell

Quite possibly (but who knows) - Holmes, Paul, Rogers, Hodges, Eifler

There’s a chance (that they’re re-signed/extended) - Curl, Young, Holcomb, Cosmi, Brown, Bates, Toney, WBK, JSW, Ridgeway (can’t recall his contract length)

Might be tough (especially given ownership change) - Payne, Sweat

Seriously doubt it, but you never know - Fuller, Samuel (along with the randoms like Wildgoose, Castro-Fields, etc)

Surely gone - McCain, and all the journeymen like Mayo, Sims, Bostic, etc

Can’t recall Leno’s contract length (and too lazy to look it up), so either “quite possibly” or “seriously doubt it”.

Forrest would have to be resigned as he’s a 2021 pick.

Good catch.  It’s a bit of a weird excercise as most teams (if not all of them) have few players signed for 3+ years.  You’re limited to your 1st round pick in 2021, 2022 draft picks, and guys that have just recently signed long term deals… anything else is pure conjecture.  Not to mention the roughly 21 draft picks that will be added in that time frame, let alone any UDFAs, completely change that landscape.

Reason I did this excersize is because a good number of guys are "ron" guys who likely wont be others. Like If Ron was here or some disciple after Ron retires to FO only or what ever, players like JSW, Casey Toohill, John Bates and the like would still be here.

It’s certainly possible they would be, then again, who knows.
