But it turns out that the aide is very real. Her name is Natalie Harp, a former One America News anchor who joined Trump's communications team in March 2022. According to reporting that year by the Washington Post, Harp would even accompany the former reality TV host on golf trips in a cart "equipped with a laptop and sometimes a printer to show him uplifting news articles, online posts, or other materials." The survey from Echelon Insights, which was cofounded by former Republican digital strategist Patrick Ruffini and pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson, found that 49 percent of respondents would either definitely, probably or lean to voting for Biden, while 46 percent said they would opt for Trump. I'm not sure what the national polls had Biden up by right before the 2020 election. The WaPo poll heading into 2016 gave Hillary a two point edge, which is what it wound up being. And of course she lost the EC. Biden won the pop vote by 4 last time.
