Im more challenging anything about the number of bids and bid amounts.

OK, non disclosure about the number of bids and the amounts in the bids.

Your point is everyone of these bidders are way too disciplined to ever tell anyone else where it can get leaked.  So even if reporters are relentless at trying to get info, the info is as tight as a vault, zero chance any of these bidders said a word to anyone also ditto anyone linked to Snyder said a word or the bank said a single word.  These guys are CIA level studs at keeping those secrets all in house and even if they aren't they will find that level of fool proof secrecy because they wouldn't want to jeopardize their bids.

But Dan's feelings about Bezos one way or another is fair game because none of that is under non disclosure.

Interesting take:

What no way screw that guy! was my immediate reaction. But it is a valid point. And it could explain why Snyder doesn’t want him seeing the financials and maybe also why Bezos has been rumored to be selling the Post.

If Dan Snyder doesn't sell this off season I will be starting threads in the stadium that will be harsher than anything ever seen here without concern for consequence. The thread titles alone will be much more heated than any in the tailgate.

I know that sounds like a tempest in a teapot scenario but I will also call up all the football media I can think of and tell them the history of this site, the fan base, and how utterly loathed and reviled Dan is and how many have walked away with actual hatred for all things Snyder.

I think my nipples just got hard

Posturing. Pure posturing.

Everything that has come out about this sale is clearly, at this point, public maneuvering that will ultimately end with Bezos buying the COmmanders for $6.4m and selling the Post in exchange. That's as clear as day reading these tea leaves lol

I don't know.

Sure, that sounds good and that's what I'd hope for.  I want Bezos (really, that's not much of a stretch, I want Harris, too.  I just want Snyder gone).

But this assumes that purchasing the Commanders is attractive in comparison to the Seahawks.  And side by side, it's not even close.  You've got the Commanders who are a **** team that just went through a **** re-brand and play in a **** stadium and they need to build a new one.  In your scenario, Bezos has to sell the Post in exchange as part of the deal.

Or, he could hold on to the Post and buy the Seahawks who are a good team with a good brand and have a nice stadium.

I mean, if you're going to pay 6 billion for a stadium you might as well purchase the team that won't require you to kick up another billion or so to build a new stadium in a few years.  Less headaches in the Seattle scenario.

But hey, we're all emotional Commanders fans and think we're entitled for some reason.

I could be reading it wrong but this leaking feels like Bezos is telling that that he’s going to be in the owners club sooner rather than later via Seattle.  So you can box me out and screw yourself out of a half billion give or take or just suck it up and screw off after the transaction is done…

At this point Bezos wants the Commanders more because Snyder told him he can’t have it. That’s how it works with these guys.

Snyder might see this as a win -win, though.

He basically pays 500 mill for Bezos not to get his team, and Snyder gets out with eight times what he bought it for.

Really? How many guys like Bezos are you kickin it with? You should get them together to make a bid!

The CEO of the first company I worked for out of college was one these guys. They made a special about him on the Discovery channel. There was a show about casino whales and one of the episodes was about him. He shared an airplane hangar with Hugh Hefner. He had a dc9 with a jacuzzi onboard and was really good friends with Hefner and Carl Icahn. I went on like 3 Vegas trips with him and got to go to the Playboy mansion for a party as well. I got to meet a several of his friends over the years I worked there. Two of my fraternity brothers started the company I worked for and this guy acquired us. This was in the late 90s during the dot com boom. It was such a fun time before it collapsed.

lol okay, piss off the only 31 people on earth who have power over you instead of just leaving on your own terms for historically high dollar amounts in a way where you can feign victory. Fascinating

He literally can't help himself. I'm not sure if mental illness is the right term but something is not right with this guy. Narcissism. to the max.

LOL.

This was so predictable. The moment you started seeing stories about Dan not wanting to sell, shutting out Bezos, etc... it was just a matter of time before Goodell and company showed him what was up. Weird thing is, the Post buried the lead. If Little Danny did nothing wrong, why does he want the findings  of the Mary Jo White report kept secret?

They just warned him very publicly to stop messing around.
