It was against the Mets so of course the stadium was full of Met fans. We kicked their arse and it was awesome seeing them go home losers. The only way we can somewhat offset our porous defense is to take the ball away- which we never do. Our opponents haven't even put the ball on the ground in the two games so far. Obviously, you can't recover a fumble if you don't make them put the ball on the ground. And our lone interception this year came on an under thrown desperation heave. Creating turnovers are always important in the outcome of the game for every team. But when your defense stinks like ours, getting turnovers is an absolute must for us to win games.
