Pitts is my favorite player in the draft, oh well.  But the consolation prize is pretty darned good, too.

With the #6 pick, The Miami Dolphins take:  Penei Sewell.

Dolphins have invested draft capital on the O line in recent years but it still stinks.  I can't pass over the best LT in this draft and arguably one of the better LT prospects of the last 10 years.

What started with a stoner in a gas mask now comes full circle.

With the 9th pick in the 2021 ES Mock Draft (and probably the 1st controversial pick of the 2021 ES Mock Draft), the Denver Broncos select ILB Micah Parsons, Penn St.

Denver's war room was willing to look past the character issues, and take a LB prospect who could be one of the best of his generation.  His speed and athleticism allow him to have plus range, and he also is solid in coverage. His weaknesses such as diagnosing plays can be attributed to inexperience, as he only played 2 years of college ball, in which he was an All American his sophomore year.  Denver was lucky enough to have BPA and need converge, as Jewell and Alexander Johnson are decent, but would be better as depth as their skill set does not match that of Parsons.  Fangio is super pumped to have him patrolling his defense.  After seeing the impact that a Keuchly or Devin White can have on a defense, the Broncos feel confident in their selection.   If character concerns weren't an issue, Parsons would probably be a top 5 pick.  Plus Lavar Arrington vouches for him, what else do you need to hear?!?

@Davistron20, you're up.

Talent-wise, this is a steal.

Obviously, there are questions about his character, but I'd hope teams (at least WFT) have the ability to snuff that type of stuff out in the interview process. I think this kid is going to be an incredible player in the league for a long time if he stays out of trouble.

With the 10th pick in the 2021 ES mock draft, the Dallas Cowboys select:

Patrick Surtain, DB, Alabama

With needs all over the defense, the Cowboys most glaringly need help in the secondary as several players departed in free agency. Surtain will be a day one starter, and Dallas hopes he will solidify a defense that will be facing several ascending NFC East offensive groups in 2021.
