  1. Slightly more optimistic. Hats off to the FO for not mortgaging the future. Overall, I think it was a fantastic draft. Haskins has great potential and with Guice/AP we could have a running game if the line can stay healthy. My biggest concerns are the coach's abilities to adjust in game on both sides of the ball and the ridiculous injury bug that has plagued us these past few years.

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

I had some free time today so I analyzed our draft and calculated scores. Disclaimer: The following scores of the 2019 ES Mock Draft are simply a comparison to the results of the actual NFL draft. It will take a few years to asses each player’s performance to see how well we really did. Some of our UDF players may be picked up to become stars and there’s a really good chance that some of the players we picked will bust. Scoring was done a few ways: 1. The difference between the Jimmy Johnson draft values of the actual draft position and the mock position. An undrafted player is given the Jimmy Johnson value of his mock draft position. The difference is divided by the number of picks. 2. The difference between actual draft position and the mock position. An undrafted player was considered to be drafted at position 255. The difference is divided by the number of picks made. 3. Bonuses are added to both of the above when a player in the mock is taken in the same position as the actual draft or if he is taken by the same team. 4. Percentage of mock players actually drafted. 5. The overall result is an average of each team’s place in the above categories. There was quite a lot of data to sort through. It would be a miracle if I didn’t miss a player or two or make a mistake in the calculations. I count 60 players that the NFL drafted that we did not. If you’re missing a player on the attached spreadsheet, let me know via PM or with post in this thread so I can make the correction. Now to the scores! Difference of Jimmy Johnson Values / Number of Picks (The most meaningful method IMHO as it uses weighted values) 1. Bucs 560.1 2. Jaguars 300.9 3. Bears 246.5 4. Dolphins 141.9 5. Vikings 138.6 6. 2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

A few other notables in addition to the ES Bucs hitting exactly: ES Jaguars took Quinnen Williams at the same spot as the Jets in the real draft. ES Steelers got Devin Bush 10 spots after the NFL Steelers took him. My ES Eagles picked Andre Dillard 3 spots after the NFL Eagles got him. It was a very interesting draft last night to say the least. The biggest surprise for me was the Giants taking Jones at 6.

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

A job well done to everyone!!! Many thanks to @goskins10 and @Skinsinparadise for their great efforts keeping everything in sync. I think this has been the smoothest draft yet and everyone did their homework. I'm really looking forward to the real draft now so we can get an idea of how well we did. Thanks to all!

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

With their final pick in the 2019 ES Mock Draft, the Eagles select Montre Hartage, CB out of Northwestern This was a tough choice as I had many prospects to evaluate. Since Jalen Mills was arrested I decided to go with a CB. I picked Hartage over some others that might be rated higher because of his football instincts, ball hawk skills and toughness. In 2018 he had 13 pass breakups, two interceptions and 51 tackles. @Morrison J and the Jets are up again.

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

No apologies necessary. This is where it gets more difficult for all of us. Many of the guys we've picked in the later rounds in our previous mocks have gone undrafted, but then again, some GM's have found some real gems. It's more of a crap shoot than earlier rounds for sure. I think Marshall is a good pick.

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

For pick 163 the Eagles go with: Daniel Wise, DL, Kansas. Back to defense, Wise has good potential and had a great game against the Mountaineers. We'll see... Safe I think for round 5.

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

Despite trading with Chicago for Jordan Howard, and to complete round 4, the Eagles pick Benny Snell Jr., RB, Kentucky The Eagles are looking for some competition in the backfield and "Snell Ya Later" fits the bill. Overlooked by many, I think this kid has what it takes to become a game changer as he had three 1,000+ yard seasons in a row in the tough SEC. and... @Reaper Skins is on the clock to start round 5.

Things are moving along! With pick 127 the Eagles take Joe Giles-Harris, LB, Duke He sprained his MCL last year but I think his overall talent is worth the risk at this point in the draft. He's a relentless and aggressive player that doesn't get fooled by fakes. He's a natural with a good football IQ. I'm sure other GM's were wary of the injury but I'm still surprised he fell this far.

Thanks to you all. It was a long time dealing with her dementia/Alzheimer's. In a sense, it's almost a relief. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. She was a remarkable woman and will be missed. Now, back to this awesome draft. I didn't mean to upset things.

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

You are all doing great. Our mock is moving along and most everyone is making good picks, even @Gibbs Hog Heaven had a good one. I have to say that I think this is the best mock yet. If I have time I'll grade this again, but everyone knows, the real test is seeing how the players do in a few years. My algorithm compares our mock to the actual draft and grades using the Jimmy Johnson draft value chart as an offset and uses the number of picks each team has to calculate a mean. I explained it in our previous draft. Hopefully I'll have time. My mother passed away this week so I'm a bit stressed trying to be an executor. Also, kudos to our commish and co-commish. I can't thank you guys enough. To everyone, a job well done. Let's keep it up. I don't draft again until the 4th so it seemed like a good time to post this. HTTR!

2019 ES GMs Mock Draft - Final!

Nice pick. I didn't think Campbell would last this long. I think it was last year or maybe the year before when I only had a few picks and none in the first. I kept watching my guys get picked left and right and had to settle for players I wasn't as keen on. You however, got a good one to fall in your lap. Well done.
