TYLER SMITH, OT/OG, Tulsa Getting the bad out of the way first, Tyler may have led the FBS in holding penalties. BUT, there seems to be a lot of interest for what he can become with proper technique, which is an elite tackle. The reason is because this kid plays mean, aggressive. The plan for the Texans rebuild is we are looking for home runs and we are building from the trenches out. The plan for Tyler will likely be to put him at G to learn from Laremy Tunsil while we work on his technique, but use his mauling run blocking to help improve our pitiful rushing offense. Depending on how Tunsil and Howard work out at T, he may move out when needed and ready. Only 20 years old, turns 21 in April so definitely room to grow. Will put a lot of pressure on the coaching staff because he could conceivably fall anywhere from bust to All Pro.
