RB is one of 22 starting positions, should be drafted once in every 3 years, and yet instead of 4.5% of picks, we have used 20% of our top 4 picks each year on a RB. In today's NFL that is criminal. 1

True. Don't think Peterson will be back next year either.
Burgundy Yoda
As a RB, he reminds me most of Joe Mixon.

A Wide Receiver or otherwise Ron Rivera can get out and stop trying to be Bruce Allen. Ive never seen a team value the least valuable position on the field so much. Every year instead of a linemen or something actually useful we add another high round Spent first round picks on linemen 5 out of the past 6 years. Used multiple picks on middle and late round offensive and defensive lineman as well recently. One first round pick on a wide receiver in the past six drafts. 3

skinzplay
Love this pick. The kid can flat out move, and is elusive. Excellent arrow in the quiver for S. Turner.

KDawg
I enjoy seeing all the people who don’t know who he is taking a steaming dump on the pick. Cant wait for their tune to change when they see this guy roll. 15
Warhead36
A better comparison might be Alvin Kamara who was also a 3rd round pick 3

98ORAKPO98
Welcome to the Redskins Antonio Gibson! Albert Breer @AlbertBreer I'm told the Redskins plan to play Memphis' Antonio Gibson as both a receiver and a back, and the expectation is that he'll practice at and learn each spot. Staff had versatile types McCaffrey and Samuel in Carolina. Hope is, Gibson will be more of a true hybrid than either. https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/2020/04/21/meet-memphis-rb-wr-antonio-gibson-the-most-explosive-player-in-the-2020-draft/
Skinsinparadise
Some clips from my previous watching of Gibson that I posted on other threads. Him and Bowden IMO were the ultimate swiss army knives in this draft. I've liked Gibson slightly ahead of Bowden. KR-RB-WR. YAC. Physical. Beast of an athlete. He is going to be the ultimate tool IMO in the backfield -- sweeps, end arouds, handoffs. gibson.mp4 gibson2.mp4 gibson3.mp4 gibson4.mp4 gibson5.mp4 gibson6.mp4
Tarpon75
Didn’t know anything about him prior to this selection. Could be just the kind of weapon the helps the offence to mesh. Just have to go with K Smith on this one.

sportjunkie07
and with the 66th pick of the 2020 draft, the NFL welcomes the redskins to modern day offenses. Edited April 25, 2020 by sportjunkie07 7 1
Skins199021
Meh if they are using him as an RB its not much of a value added pick. If they use him more as a WR it is a good pick. To add I say that because Love and Guice are more talented RBs than Gibson Edited April 25, 2020 by Skins199021

WR it is a smart pick. Hybrid is a fancy way of saying he doesn't have a true position. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Makes way more sense as a WR
