skinsmarydu
We had a literal CRASH & BURN today at work. A 50+ party for a retiring police officer in the big room. The entire parking lot was full of cop cars. The entire dining room was full of guns. I wasn't responsible for their service, it was a buffet, but those mofos were everywhere. We have a large party room for these kinds of things, but they kept spreading everywhere...made my tables unseatable and therefore dead to me. Of course, the general public avoided us like the plague. I was lucky to walk out with $40, when I would normally make an extra HUNDRED, at least. cops suck

abdcskins
Just went to Langer's Deli for the first time. Insanely good pastrami sandwich, coleslaw, swiss cheese, Russian dressing. It was like $27 but worth it.
skinsmarydu
Today was a totally different animal than yesterday. Work was jammin', did my thing and made it out alive. Afternoon traffic was a real bear. I had to go over to the big rock for some weekend goodies...a trip that normally takes 30 minutes or so round trip took more than an hour. (with the caveat that I'm much happier now). All I've gotta do is get through tomorrow, which won't be difficult because my regulars make up most of the day---THEN IT'S PARTY TIME!!! 1

While we are here, you should also consider taking him to a Brazilian steakhouse where they bring you unlimited meat. Heaven on earth. Here's my test: would you have wanted someone to take YOU to a Korean buffet when you were two? Imagine remembering that now, lights, colors, people, at 2 it's like a trip to the circus, WITH food! 3

Fogo de Chao in DC is the one I’ve been to a couple times, but not everyone has such a refined palate as yours 🤣 I’ve been to another one but I can’t remember the name of it. Don’t blame you for that. Try Fogo next time you’re in the mood for meat candy. And while we’re here, try Padaek in Falls Church.
Captain Wiggles
No you don't take a two year old to an all you can eat Korean buffet. You take me genius. I can eat way more than some two year old. 🤪 There's a dank Brazilian steakhouse down the street from my house. They do endless meat skewers and them lil greenish sugary drinks I can't pronounce cuz im a gringo. 3
