Nfl is a brutal business, man

Does anyone around here remember the guy's name that we used to cut on fridays and sign on mondays every week during the season. That was a few years ago with Scott as GM, and man do I felt bad for the guy... That was brutal.

Now that’s a name for your ass right there lol.

Just so you know, Riggo's Rag has a full article regarding your ass.

And it's up right there in BHRBN for everyone to learn about your ass :rofl89:

Frank Kearse was the real MVP that season. He's probably still waiting on us to call him back. :(

Was it really Kearse ?

Because I remember a player like this, but can't recall his name, but don't think it was Kearse.

Free agent running back Orleans Darkwa will be among those participating in a tryout at Redskins Park Sunday, a source said. The Redskins need to add another back thanks to several injuries. Both Samaje Perine (ankle) and Byron Marshall (ankle) both will miss time with injuries and Derrius Guice already is out for the season with a torn ACL. They also waived/injured running back Martez Carter, leaving them with three healthy bodies in practice Saturday.

I think Simmie definitely deserves a look at the Practice Squad.

And in terms of RB, here is my list of RB's that may be available very soon by cut or for a minimal investment, late round pick, some would cost more:

Who of this group is definitively better than Kelley/Perine?

Some are currently the back some are 3rd string or worse on their current teams.

TJ Yeldon (because they really love corey grant) jags

Corey Grant jags

Mack Brown (Remember him? yep) ravens

Ameer Abdullah detroit

Aaron Jones green bay

Jonathan Williams saints

Tevin Coleman $ worth the most would cost a 2nd or 3rd I'd imagine. Steal for a 4th imo.

Mike Gilleslie

Thomas Rawls

Chris Ivory

Brown is on the Vikings and probably not going to be cut, because he's #3 behind Cook and Murray.

Don't kick too hard. We all know how fragile running backs are around here.

As long as we kick them BEFORE they sign with us, they won’t get injured :P

just gotta be careful with them after they become part of our team ?

It was. I can still remember that each time he was signed or cut, I kept confusing him with Javon Kearse.
