The Washington Post reported on Thursday that Ginni Thomas emailed at least two elected lawmakers in Wisconsin, urging them to back the plot for a vote to “decertify” the state’s election results (which is not something the state legislature can legally do) in favour of a slate of Trump-supporting “electors” who would go to Washington and cast Electoral College votes for Mr Trump instead of Joe Biden. The plan never bore fruit, but was in motion until the hours before January 6 when a Trump campaign lawyer contacted the top deputy to Ron Johnson, Wisconsin’s GOP senator, and urged him to have his boss hand the slate of electors over to Vice President Mike Pence in person. The new boss Licht wants CNN to go back to hard news and not as much opinion as you see obviously on Fox and MSNBC. I'm not sure how they'll pull it off in this environment. I miss the old days when CNN had a nightly sports show with Fred Hickman and Van Earl Wright. CNN is actually going to have a special in a few weeks on Rupert Murdoch. CNN used to be our background noise TV channel for years. I have grown more and more tired of it the last few years. It definitely shifted left but not horribly. My issue was that everything was "Breaking News" and they spent too much time on roundtable opinion discussions. A little of that can be good to explain things, see it frome different angles, etc. But it got crazy. Don Lemon drives me nuts. I'd like to see them get to their goal. Apparently liberal twitter is going crazy over someone on CNN being critical of Biden having two Marines in the background during his speech. Is that supposed to be evidence of a shift?
