But I don't think there will be. O'Reilly being a scumbag and Ingraham picking on a high schooler who just had his school shot up are things that everyone can view as reprehensible. The court of public opinion isn't going to care too much about Hannity having the same lawyer as Trump. There's not enough of a victim card to be played here. Hannity-Cohen could really hurt them with the people who watch Hannity because they’re looking for a highly credible source of unbiased information. Nope. I raised the issue with my mother-in-law again, her response, “What does it matter?” Like Ted Koppel said, Hannity has conditioned his people to value ideology over truth. And THAT is dangerous.

I think so too, they know full well the problem these things create, and they are embarrased to admit that they screwed up and backed a moron for President. Only the most stupid and ideologically baptized still say, “Still better than Hillary.” The rest I believe when they look in the mirror recogize that Trump is an embarrassment. But if you ask them what they'd say if Obama or Hillary had the same lawyer as someone like Rachel Maddow, and Maddow was trying to say that anyone going after that lawyer was full of **** and it was a witch hunt, at the same time asking that lawyer to protect her and not expose her...I mean, c'mon. Apply the same standards.

They move the goal posts constantly because their excuses simply don’t hold up under examination and scrutiny. Then when they can’t do anything else they punt and defldct to Obama or Hillary. It’s pretty embarrassing really.

No wonder our best and brightest don't want to run for public office. Who would want to open themselves up for such public scrutiny? Look no further than this thread, most of what we care about is tabloid fodder. Speaking only for myself, I will disagree. Tabloid fodder might be what gets commented on. It's much easier to make clever jokes about. But it's not what I care about. Me, I couldn't care less if Trump cheats on the wife that he mail ordered from a Russian mobster. Didn't care if Clinton cheated, either. (Although the fact that he seemed to use the office of the Presidency as a tool for sex bothered me. Both because it's an abuse of his office, and because the power he wields gets into coercion.) I care that he is working diligently to destroy America's leadership role in the world. Something that took decades to build, and might well be impossible to recover. (And which has paid us tremendous benefits, for pretty much my lifetime.) I care that, while it was possible that the end of America's Golden Age was approaching anyway, that Trump and the GOP appear to be actively fighting to make sure that it is irrevocably broken, quick, before they lose the power to damage it further. But that is both more depressing, and harder to make jokes about.

I was in high school at the time and figured that he just got busted for what most adults did. He was an adulterer before, he's been an adulterer since. He wasn't going to take an 8 year leave of absence from running game.
Sacks 'n' Stuff
Clinton’s inability to keep it in his pants was a disgrace and an embarrassment. The fact that we’re looking back on it as no big deal is confirmation that it actually was. I wonder how many other young people’s take away from one of our leaders cheating on his wife (and child) was, “that’s what adults do.”
