Maybe it's me..but the Trump effect seems to be a lot of younger professional women are gearing up to run for House seats in 2018, as Democrats.

Fitting since the end of 2017 became known for female empowerment.

maybe we will get a better class of Democrats.

She might be baaaack! That loon, Michele Bachmann says she might run for Franken's seat. She's praying on it just like she did when God told her to run for president.

Fortunately, there's no way she wins...in fact, she would almost certainly get crushed in a landslide.

She barely won elections in a district that was overwhelmingly GOP, so, no way she makes any headway statewide in a state that elected Paul Wellstone.

I think Trump lost MN by only a point or two.

This band of crazy is spreading across the Midwest.

In a year when the rights of indigenous people have been under assault, from Standing Rock to the president’s Twitter feed, a largely unknown politician is pushing back by launching a campaign to become the country’s first Native American governor.

Paulette Jordan, a 37-year-old Idaho state representative and member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, is running as a progressive Democrat to try and become state governor.

Meh.  No big deal then.

Well if the legislature and Governor can't come to a final agreement the current districts would remain in place if Virginia doesn't lose or gain any representatives.

Apparently, the GOP candidate just won the VA senate race by hat draw......

Well some good news for a change.

Here's the disputed ballot in Virginia.

It should have been thrown out.  There is too much ambiguity and thus no way to to determine for certainty whether the person intended to vote for Simmonds or Yancey.

Well apparently there were additional ballots like this that were counted for Simonds which is why the Judge decided to allow it (Hearsay from someone who knows one of the lawyers involved).  Guess she could have said throw that out but throw those others out as well in which case there would not have been a coin flip.
