88Comrade2000
Biden seems to be the only one, who can go mano a mano with Trump. Joe can hit Trump hard and knock him out. I don't think anyone else running can do that against Trump. Thing is, as already mentioned; Joe is going to have a hard time getting the nomination. He's #1, only due to name recognition. Once people see him campaigning and find out about his long history as a Senator; his numbers are going down. He's still in the Top 5 for now. Trump only needs to get to 270. I think he will do to everyone else, other than Bernie; what he did to the GOP in 2016 and poor Lizzie Warren. Bernie is unelectable on his own merits. No way, this country elects a socialist in 2020. The Dem has to win 2 or 3 of those Midwest states or flip Georgia, Florida and Arizona to win in 2020. Beto to me, seems all style and no substance. It seems like boom or bust with him. He either soars or is a spectacular bust. If Joe somehow is the nominee. He should do 2 things. Announce, he will only serve one term and his veep will be Kamala or Beto or someone else who's young.

Not even all democrats are for universal health care. White national policies are fairly commonplace for republicans. Essentially the liberals who are trying to cross the aisle are crossing to an increasingly right wing Republican Party.

I'll have a beer with her...only if she's had 2 or 3 before I get there...sometimes she needs to slow down with explanations. She did an amazing job explaining the idea of "break up Google/ Amazon" the other morning, I actually understood it.

I feel Biden would've beaten Trump in 2016 with a strong ObamaWH endorsement. Will this country come out to vote for Joe Biden in 2020 though? Phrasing the question that way makes me feel like Biden will lose because we all know MAGAland will be out to vote. Biden/Harris I believe is a winning ticket though. Biden/Harris I believe is a winning ticket though. Joe is from Scranton, PA. He understands and relates to the Midwest. If the Dems are to win in 2020, their best bet is to recapture the Midwest states they lost in 2016. Joe can do that. I don't think the others can. The Trump/Gop/Russian machine will make everyone else unelectable in those states. Of course, Joe has to get the nomination. That seems unlikely at the moment. Cooked Crack
Lol. If he's so worried about multiple felonies he should check his boy, Trump. Also, Cruz really trying to get Bernie Bros to bite on this looks like.

More than that is a felony, and could result in jail time. It is unclear whether O’Rourke topped that threshold. https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-politics-beto-orourke/ Ted really worried about long distance service and cracked games from the 80s. skinny21
Wait, so Buttigieg learned Norwegian so he could read more books? Wow. Listened to his interview with Preet - excellent interview and he is a brilliant, thoughtful guy. Military service Rhodes Scholar - foreign affairs Midwestern POV Well spoken School shooting generation Extremely well read Love his stance on Democrats leading with binders and power points of policy when they should be leading with values Not afraid to talk about the benefits of faith (or about any subject) I think he can (and recognizes the need for Dems to) end around Trump instead of trying to meet fire with fire. Not sure how many (mainly in the middle) will get hung up on his sexuality, but I think he’s a great option for the pushing the country where it needs to go. He’s my favorite by far and is, oddly, very relatable.

I want Biden because we have ****ed ourselves so much on the global stage, I want someone with experience on Day 1. We dont have the luxury for training wheels. He should be a 1 term guy grooming an heir though. Have you looked into Buttigieg? Super pragmatic, a Rhodes scholar on foreign affairs and served in Afghanistan. Not sure if that scratches your itch or not. (I realize I just posted back to back on Mayor Pete... no I’m not on his campaign😊) I also think we need to go for a candidate that we believe in versus worrying about “can they win?”.
