'Call 911.' Because it sounds like an unhinged, deranged person has gotten loose and is out on the street and may be a danger to themselves and others."

He added that the insults against McConnell were "beyond the pale" and that "every Republican ought to be able to say so."

Crazy it only took about 8 years for them to catch up

A voice in my head (one of many) keeps telling me that there's something wrong with the fact that, out of all the evil things the Republican machine have knowingly, openly, done, the one thing they're potentially at risk for is "they said something bad about a corporation".

there is a real danger from ALWAYS looking for the worst in EVERYTHING.... most thing are innocuous,  even for ****ty people.   If you view every innocuous moment in the worst light, then the true ****ty behavior is able to just get swept under a pile of faux outrage at the little stuff.

this is MOST LIKELY just a mom that was out on a walk with her kid, and they got got in a downpour and are trying to get back home...

Former Kentucky legislator Robert Goforth sentenced to 2 years of prison in fraud case

Former Kentucky state legislator Robert Goforth was sentenced Monday to 25 months in prison, following his guilty plea in May to federal charges of health care fraud and money laundering at the pharmacy he owned.

A spokesperson for U.S. prosecutors in Kentucky's Eastern District indicated the former Republican legislator's sentence includes two years of supervised release as well, in addition to orders to pay a $10,000 fine and $2.7 million in restitution.

In his guilty plea, Goforth admitted to improperly billing insurance programs in excess of $2.7 million for prescriptions that customers never picked up, then multiplying profits by putting those medications back on the shelf and selling them again.

Dem Strategist Rips Republicans With Reason For Their ‘Very Low-Quality Candidates’

Longtime Democratic political consultant James Carville pulled no punches with his searing assessment of the GOP field of those he described as “very low-quality candidates” in the 2022 midterm elections.

“They have a lot of stupid people that vote in their primaries. They really do. I’m not really supposed to say that but it’s obvious fact. And you know, when stupid people vote, you know who they nominate? Other stupid people,” Carville said of Republicans on Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour.”

Carville’s comments came during a discussion with anchor Ayman Mohyeldin about the fresh controversy surrounding former football star and Georgia GOP U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker, who this week was accused of paying for an abortion for a then-girlfriend in 2009. Walker is running a staunch “pro-life” campaign.
