Oh I think Trump has nothing but absolute contempt for the vast majority of his supporters. IIRC there were reports about how, after one of those WH "prayer meetings", he was basically making fun of the Christians and calling them suckers and idiots. And we know that he thinks US soldiers are also suckers and losers.

 

But it doesn't matter because you'll never be able to disabuse your average MAGA of the notion that Trump, a rich guy who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and has shown nothing but disdain for people who he sees as beneath him in the social hierarchy, is actually a regular Joe just like them and is there to represent their interests.

 

It's maddening, but it's not really anything new. For many decades now the Republican party has somehow convinced working class white voters that they, the party of the ultra rich who mostly want to cut taxes for huge corporations, are somehow their champions. Like many other things, Trump is just the most recent and most extreme incarnation of that trend.

And the "transcript" isn't a transcript. 
 

A transcript is a word for word record of every word spoken. 
 

The "transcript" was, IIR, around 4 minutes of dialog. Of a conversation that was over an hour long. 
 

The "transcript" was written by two dozen Trump staffers in a conference room, discussing what they wanted it to say. 
 

In other words, it's not a transcript. It's a press release. 
 

And even that document claims that Donald Trump personally asked the head of a foreign government to "do us a favor", by announcing an investigation of Hunter Biden, by name. 
 

The "evidence" which they spent over a day manufacturing, says he solicited a campaign contribution.

I'm literally talking about the 448 page Mueller report that went into incredible detail about many instances where Trump obstructed justice as well as the myriad links between the Trump campaign and Russia. The report even basically said that the only reason Trump wasn't charged was because of DoJ policy regarding indicting sitting presidents.

 

Did you read the report or did you just listen to what Tucker and Hannity told you about it?
