I guess I will say it again, Jeff Flake was basically part of the Tea Party. He is not a traditional republican at all, and the man has voted for everything Trump has proposed. I've hard people say Trump's election to the White House was a meme that went too far and while I think there's truth to that, I do wonder how many people voted for him simply because he was entertaining. Everything from the announcement of his candidacy to the present has been like some sort of surrealist (borderline dadaist) interpretation of a reality show and maybe that's why he's gotten as far as he has.
