Republic is going to get hit hard. Southeastern Bahamas are under a hurricane warning. Medium term (Continental US) - the Mid-Atlantic will want to keep an eye out in the middle of next week. OBX, even the Chesapeake Bay region need to keep an eye out. Jose continues to be the weirdest storm ever... It's going to do an extremely tight loop over the next 4 days. Basically ending up the same place it's at right now on SUNDAY. Still predicted be a tropical storm at that point. Maria's interaction with Jose will be interesting in the long term. Well off of the east coast, but there is still some concern once it reaches OBX and the rest of the mid-Atlantic. This would be something you'd have to deal with in the middle of next week. Could possibly turn in to a full out hurricane warning by that time. Good news is that it's expected to take a dramatic eastern turn out to sea, right as it reaches OBX. Hit and run.
