d0ublestr0ker0ll
Dayum, 22. Sucks. Still early. Wouldn't sleep on it. Especially if it hits areas susceptible to flooding and wind damage.

TheGreatBuzz
Getting ready for Nate. They ordered evacuation for parts of my county but looking at the map, the evacuation zone missed me by about 300 yards. So Im safe. Time to start day drinking! 4

Even after I started driving it was like 80 degrees and it was hot as **** at the NAt game. What gives. Then again...rather have this heat than cold. Everybody is getting it this year, huh? 2 Cat 5's in 3 weeks, with 10 inches of rain in the middle from another. 77 inches of rain in Sept for us. Marias eye was about 10 south of my house. LadySkinsFan
Goodness! I hope everyone and their loved ones are okay. Have to call my friends in Tampa and Deland FL. Glad I am not traveling there in my camper right now.
China
We were driving by Gunpowder Falls State Park on Route 1 this afternoon and saw about 20 emergency vehicles. Later found out they did a swift water rescue and saved 3 people. Yeah, that flooding in Ellicott City is crazy. This happened just 2 years ago. I think when they rebuild they should seriously consider a major engineering project on that body of water that would prevent a recurrence. It would have to be cheaper than rebuilding the town every 2 years.

TheGreatBuzz
I ha e an uncle who is an architect in the area. He said flooding is due to some big new development upstream. Said area never had issue until that was built.
