JoeWolf990
Man this makes me sad. Could this be the worst trade in draft history? Spending three number ones and a 2 on a guy who won't be here 3 years after being drafted? yes, yes it is the worst move in NFL draft history. Not even close. RG3 could go on and have a HOF career elsewhere, and we would have still lost. What an embarrassment this franchise continues to be. On what planet were Ramsey and Campbell franchise QBs? Can we stop perpetuating this myth lol a QB drafted in the first round is usually expected to be a franchise type
SkinsFTW
None of our current QB's will start next year. There is no QB battle. We will have a new starter next year. Might be right but Colt plays the game just like Rich Gannon, has the same noodle arm too, and that was the QB Jon Gruden chose over Jeff George in Oakland. Also, Jon Gruden sounded like Madden talking about Favre on MNF last year before his brother got this job.
RawBBQSauce
Is it even close? Ricky Williams is close but the weight of the QB position vs. the RB position I think puts our gaffe above theirs.

Boss_Hogg
Only the Redskins can take a player with talent and ruin him in two years. S.T.real,lights,out
Only team in the league that shuts down players and thinks it's a good thing. Bravo
TK
Is there any chance that things go somewhere with Colt? Do they see him as a viable future option?Yes. As Rob's backup next year.

skinsarethebest
yes, yes it is the worst move in NFL draft history. Not even close. RG3 could go on and have a HOF career elsewhere, and we would have still lost. What an embarrassment this franchise continues to be. a QB drafted in the first round is usually expected to be a franchise type IF he actually goes on to a HOF career elsewhere, I'd say that's an even worse outcome than if he ends up out of the league in the next two years... But would be typical skins luck
21Knock_U_Out
Well I for one want to tank the rest of the season. So I hope colt sucks too. I really really hate this team right now
HAILSKINSNYC
If you're going to bench RG3, I'd rather play Cousins...maybe he can regain some of the trade value.
TD_washingtonredskins
Who? me? LOL....I bet if he gets sacked 5 times it will be the O-Line's fault Maybe, but I'm guessing he won't.

Travdaskin
I'm not blind RG3 defender. He's just always getting crushed. He took a couple hits that were a bit excessive last week. Would make sense too considering Schefter is reporting a "time-out" benching scenario. Didn't say you were lol. Just saying Shanny hid under that guise last year. This year is pure performance. Gruden has said as much. He's 100 healthy right about now.

PartyPosse
We'll never know if any of them would have been franchise QBs because WE NEVER FIXED THE SAME DAMN PROBLEM THAT PLAGUED ALL OF THEM. This is really giving a free pass to: A: A really bad Oline B: a bunch of Prima Donnas at WR who didn't like that they weren't getting their stats C: A rookie coach and a rookie OC cooking up scheme after scheme that didn't play to their strength. This is essentially putting all the blame on a single player and now the fan base seems to be expecting pro owls all around. Ryan Fitzpatrick also started out strong in Houston. Maybe we can bring him next year as our flavor of the month.
