Going Commando
It's one thing to be a young NBA team but what the 76ers are putting on the floor is ridiculous. Everyone in that regime is going to be long fired before anything comes of all this tanking. There is such a thing as digging your hole too deep that you can't get out of it, the culture of losing becomes permanent, and before you know it, you've been the league's punchline for decades. We Wizards fans understand this. Kobe's going to lead the league in scoring by a country mile this year.
Destino
What really should anger Laker fans is that the front office went out and added Boozer and Jeremy Lin. Calling their fans stupid bags of money in a letter informing them that they would be raising ticket prices would have been less insulting. BRAVEONTHEWARPATH93
The Knicks will win 30 games this year on their own but the Lakers may end up with less than 15. They may be the worst team in the NBA this year. I don't know man. They made the Bulls offense look like MJ, Scottie, Kukoc, and Phil were back. Bulls are not that good (reverse jinx?) lol And Melo got strapped up by frigging Mike Dunleavy lol

I live in Philly and there is barely any outrage here. It could also be that they really don't care about the franchise anymore tho
Predicto
Kobe's going to lead the league in scoring by a country mile this year. Agreed. While shooting 43 percent from the field. Even Allan Iverson will be tweeting that Kobe's a chucker.

He's not worth Max money but he's a rarity in the league (a decent wing) so some team will.
Destino
Why would the spurs let Kawhi go? I figured he was their next star with the old guard on its way out. Edited October 30, 2014 by Destino
G.A.C.O.L.B.
Why would the spurs let Kawhi go? I figured he was their next star with the old guard on its way out. Maybe he's overrated and they know it? I remember the questions on him going into the draft. Maybe playing next to three HOFers has covered for him. Who knows
Predicto
Kawhi was great in the playoffs last year, but he had 13 ppg on very low usage during the season. Sometimes he looks like the next superstar and sometimes he looks like a guy getting all the advantage of having 3 HoFers on the court (and an HoF coach). I really can't figure out how good he is. burgundyrush
Damn you can feel the energy through the screen in Cleveland tonight. Am I the only one to look up when Cleveland is coming to your city after the Kendrick performance...looking foward to the day before New Years Eve. Gamebreaker
Why would the spurs let Kawhi go? I figured he was their next star with the old guard on its way out. I heard he's asking for a max contract, which is ridiculous.
KDawg
Keep in mind that just because they're currently saying an extension isn't likely doesn't mean it won't happen. There's a lot of games being played as it pertains to contracts on a daily basis. If Leonard is asking for max money, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a "leak" in order to let Leonard know that they aren't signing him for that, and if he wants to be a Spur he better take a pay cut. And maybe he will. Or maybe he won't. But I think it's more gamesmanship at this point.
Going Commando
I heard he's asking for a max contract, which is ridiculous. Eh, it'd be a mini-max. And the cap is going up big time. I'd give it to him if I had to. He's a big game dude and he's going to be the best player on their team in a year or two.

pjfootballer
For some reason this year I don't hat LeBron. Not sure why. He just kind of looks like he's relaxed. Like, he realized that he's won a couple of titles and it doesn't matter if he doesn't win 6 or 7. He has a different demeanor this year. Can't put my finger on it. G.A.C.O.L.B.
LeBron not playing well so far in the most important game ever in the history of all time. Destino
Well luckily Lebron was wrong and that was not one of the biggest sports events ever.... because losing to the knicks at home isn't a good look.
