Kawhi has to dribble out some clock to prevent the Warriors from getting a final shot. But Golden State came with a hard trap at the perfect time in the possession to force the ball out of Kawhi's hands (very smart) and then VanVleet had nothing going from about 27 feet with a much bigger player in his chest. You can't realistically expect VanVleet to create a good shot off the dribble from that range with the game on the line against hard defense. The backcourt violation should have been a killer. Also, Cousins with the illegal screen.
