I wouldn't be shocked if he opted in with GS if it's an achilles. Get healthy and maybe be back in March/April?

The difference in free throws is shot selection in this game. Half of the warriors shots have been threes. The raptors have only attempted 12, most of their offense has been at the rim. 18 of their 22 free throws are from Gasol, Ibaka, and Kawhi. A Curry-Thompson-Iggy-Draymond-Cousins core is good enough to win a championship next year. Especially if you give them a whole season together to figure it out and properly integrate all of their front court pieces. They woudn't be the juggernaut they've been with Durant. But I they'd probably be on a short list of three or four championship contenders. I think they could have beaten this Toronto team in five or six games with that group if Cousins hadn't missed so much time with the leg injury and Thompson hadn't missed a game. Cousins would have to be 100% and they'd need Iggy coming off the bench playing 25-30 minutes max. If Durant has an Achilles, he could opt in. 1 minute ago, Destino said: But we’ve seen bad call on both sides. The difference in free throws is shot selection in this game. Going Commando
But regardless of the line ups can put on the floor in the future, Golden State needs to fix their defense. The only time it's looked good in this series were the few moments when they got strong interior presence from Cousins and Durant. They need rebounders. And they need space eaters in the paint who can cut off the basket with size. Draymond is a wrecking ball on defense when he's playing the four next to a legit defensive presence at pivot. Going Commando
Also, this series has been a chink in Kerr's armor. His players have been lost and his rotations have been filled with mistakes. Nick Nurse's staff has been a step ahead of him almost the entire way. It feels like Kerr is not as engaged in the job this series.

They can retool after next season too since their cap will be in good shape.

Going Commando
IMO he's playing much better than he was when he dropped 47. He's setting teammates up with good looks in rhythm and making great plays within the flow of a properly diffused offense. He's not playing frantic or forcing much, nor is he freezing others out. He's been the best player on the floor tonight.
