The unnamed victim was walking through downtown Jackson when 43 year old Cathy Priest allegedly forced him by gunpoint into her Mazda Miata and drove him to her mobile home in nearby Clinton. The victim’s hands and ankles were bound and a b*tt plug inserted into his rectum. He was then forced to perform oral s*x on Melon for up to 4 hours at a time, over the course of seven days. China's e-commerce giant Alibaba has partnered with an insurance company to introduce a one-year, three-yuan (50-cent) insurance plan that covers up to 20,000 yuan in litigation fees for anyone who wants to help an older person to their feet but is concerned about being accused of knocking them down to begin with. The novelty insurance product attracted more than 60,000 buyers since going on sale Oct. 15. Concern has grown in recent years with media attention given to various scams in which elderly people are found to have turned against their helpers. Some have been caught on video purposely falling next to cars to rip off the motorists. A joke circulating in China's social media says a new criterion in judging one's wealth is whether he or she has the guts to help an elderly person. "Many people want to do good deeds by helping the elderly to their feet, but they are also worried about getting scammed," said Xu Ting, product manager at Alibaba. "We hope the insurance plan can help reduce some financial costs by paying for litigation fees that can help restore the facts." One of the best-known cases occurred in 2007 in the eastern city of Nanjing, where a young man took an old woman to a hospital after she fell at a bus stop. When the woman was diagnosed with bone fractures, she demanded that the young man pay the medical bill, saying he knocked her over and should be held responsible for her injuries. The man denied wrongdoing. Without solid evidence, the court assigned no fault to either party but ruled the man should shoulder 40 percent of the medical costs. The verdict stirred a wave of criticism, with the public largely believing the man had been unfairly punished. At least that was the thinking for many residents living near the village of High Rock, in the Wanghin area of Thailand. High Rock has seen an increased amount of attention in recent weeks as visitors have flocked to see for themselves one of the town’s newest residents. A strange creature, which has the appearance of a hybrid between a crocodile and a water buffalo, was born in the village earlier this month. The owners of the water buffalo, which has given birth to normal calves in the past, believe that the birth of this creature is an indicator of future prosperity and happiness for their family. Other members of High Rock share this view, although some wonder how a creature with such a bizarre appearance could be a sign of good fortune. While the minority held this view, it became a more vocal minority once the ‘Crocalo’ died three hours after birth. Still, even with the animal’s death, locals have gathered to light incense and pray to supernatural forces for more blessings upon the small community of three hundred inhabitants. But while low income and homeless families wait, the NBC10 Investigators found some families were allowed to live in PHA properties while earning six figures. Waitress Trusts Instincts, Reunites Runaway Teens With Parents Officials say 181 families living in PHA housing earn more than they’re allowed to. The Department of Housing and Urban Development refers to them as "over income." “I believe that they’re serving an important purpose,” PHA president Kelvin Jeremiah said. “I believe that the fact that they’ve achieved some level of success while being in PHA, I want to be able to encourage that.” Jeremiah said the 181 over income families make up a small percent of the 80,000 people living in PHA housing. He also said the over income families help the housing authority pay its bills. “We want those families in public housing frankly because they pay more in rent,” he said.
