Done.  If Rodgers doesn't want to play to the strength of the team he needs to go.

Let's not go overboard but I put this one squarely on him.

This persistence with one up is beyond ****ed up. When something repeatedly fails, why stick with it? The only signing, Mario aside, who looks like a player. Lallana, is never out there. Why? Throwing three forwards on is nothing more than a desperation move to me. And it's pointless when there's **** all behind them. Lallana should of been one of the changes. Why the **** is Glenn Johnson starting? why the **** does he never make any half time adjustments? they come out the second half as pathetically flat as the first. What the **** goes on in training? No pace, no movement. No nottin'. Getting embarrassed by ****e like Newcastle. Who in truth looked little better than us today. Thought Mario worked hard, but with no support. (And WHY put him wide late? the ball he crossed in for Moreno should of been the other way around FFS.). Nothing in midfield outside of Stevie. And a continued mess at the back.

On the plus side lil' bro' at least you aren't currently in a sombre car with 3 other pissed off lads. I shudder to think what might happen on Tuesday. Damage limitation and let's hope to get away without a complete battering.

Troubled times with absolutely nothing to give you a glimmer of hope. No defence. No creativity from midfield. No attack. No movement. No nothing.

Disgraceful showing Liverpool. And it starts with the manage

And just WHAT do you have to do to get sent off?

Not sure on the Allen one (need to see the pictures) but the Mario swipe was an ankle breaker.

Not excusing the game but the Geordies should of been down players today.

Hail.

I am livid at the moment... he's done it all year.  Forcing something down the throats of the side that doesn't work.  We've dropped so many points to weaker sides because of it.

Yeah both of those were Red for me.  Should've gotten at least one.

As I've just watched Jonjo get sent off for his second yellow, neither of which were as bad as those.

But would we have taken advantage of a sending off?  I honestly have to ask cause I've seen nothing from this to say we would've save for the Swansea match earlier this week.

Allen has done nothing all year but turn the ball over in the final third.  Nothing.

Alexis Sanchez loves London (and didnt want to play for that mess of a manager and team in Liverpool scust.png)

RT @ThoseScouseLads You can sum it up very briefly, we've done exactly what Spurs did. Replaced a wonder lad by spunking millions on average to alright players.

ironically Brenton was throwing shade at Spurs last year for spending all of that money and not competing for the title. Hmmm...

The Scouse Reds woulda been better off throwing Champions League and trying to stay a top 4 side this season. Build on that and then work its way to being a CL side. They tried to run before they could walk. Unlucky.

So let's recap.

He's currently with a team sat a WHOPPING THREE points ahead of a team thats been horrid most all year. He no longer has a chance of League Cup glory which said horrible team do. And a team that has a mere 1 more win than that horrid team in Europe with both looking at qualifying second in their respective groups.

Man, he must REALLY love London.

I'm livid too man. Having no-mark fat Geordie pricks who've never won anything taking the piss out of yer and not being able to answer straight faced is not my idea of a fun Saturday afternoon.

But Rodgers is going nowhere and shouldn't. He needs extending another two years. Boston went down this road. They need to stay FULLY committed. Good or bad. If it's not working in year 5, then fair enough. But you change 3 years in, you just start all over with another guy with different ides who wants his players in and the cycle continues. And let's not forget we're just a year removed from playing the best football in the league and the best we've seen in eons. (And for the ill informed Suarez is NOT the only difference there.).

Not excusing him, as he's dropped a bollock game after game this season with his stubbornness. And why it's so far removed from last year I honestly don't know. But now's not the time to bale on the Rodgers Revolution. No matter how pissed off, down and frustrated we all are in what he seemingly refuses to see. It might well get worse before it gets better with Madrid and Chelsea looming.

But it will turn. Hang in there man.

It's what sets us apart.

Premier League Top Scorers

Sergio Agüero Manchester City 9

Diego Costa Chelsea 9

Saido Berahino West Bromwich Albion 7

 Alexis Sánchez Arsenal 7

tip_zps54778fc1.png

So Sanchez takes personal glory in being top scorer without any trophy's to show for it? (Unless your actually gonna' try defend the Cup this year.).

From roads laid with silver in Barcelona. to roads paved with copper in Islington.

He must really, REALLY like the London shops and nightlife.

Is the season over?

Or the FA Cup?

He got a community shield lol

Point is he's more likely to get one here than in scouse land

We have only two less European trophy'/s than you have League Championships.

We've won more major trophy's, home and abroad, than Arsenal the 2000's. (We won't even bother with overall history.).

We're just coming off a season were we finished a game out of first playing the best football in the Country.

Yet he's more likely to win major prizes at Arsenal.

 The messed up delusions of a Gooner.

Well considering the track record of Arsenal and Liverpool over the last decade, Arsenal is more likely to get him a trophy. And the way the season has started has just re-enforced it.

How you figure?

Liverpool have own twice as many major trophy's as Arsenal the past 10 years, including the biggest prize of all, and a second appearance in the final through that span.

L'pool are still in the League Cup. Arsenal aren't.

And there's only two games difference between the two in the league.

Arsenal are no nearer winning anything than Liverpool.

Anyone else watch Bayern-Dortmund? First goal was classic Dortmund, 4 passes cover the length of the field and goal (Reus).

Saw the extended highlights.  Great goal by Reus.  Great poach by Lewandoski.  Bayern look very dangerous all of a sudden, with them playing more straight forward.  Shows that while Robben is very necessary to this team, Riberey is the guy who makes the big differenece.

As for Liverpool, the honest idea is that they need to rest any guys with injuries vs RM.  Sorry, but there was never a chance they would win that away match, so losing badly doesn't matter in terms of qualifying.  Right now, Pool show that they are missing Suarez very badly, Balotelli isn't even close to the answer, they wasted lots of money bringing in guys from Southampton, and right now they will be lucky to finish top 4.  They need to close up shop in every other competition (like they were last season) and just focus on EPL.  There are plenty of bad teams for them to get points, but right now they are teetering on the edge of falling way off the pace and extinguishing everything they did to move them forward last season.

A decade ago Liverpool won the Champions league. How does that effect Liverpool's ability to win trophies in the future? It doesn't. Outside of last year Liverpool have been mediocre most of the last decade and are right now not looking to be a top 4 team again. Arsenal is always in the top 4 and can challenge for trophies though their first in awhile was last year.

Liverpool has more CL trophies of course, but how does that have any barring on how good or effective the current team is? It doesn't. Arsenal at least has shown consistent success and can entice a player that with the right parts more is possible.

One good year for Liverpool, who had a horrible defense that was covered up by the number of goals Suarez created, doesn't make it a more enticing landing spot than Arsenal.

Basically a team that is always in the top 4 and Champions League versus a team that has trophies from over a decade ago which have no bearing on how that team currently plays.

you have to understand that Liverpool FC fans still believe its in 1984 and Liverpool FC is the best side in the world. Even when they say they do not, do not believe them. They are flat out lying to you because in their hearts they believe they have the best side and are the biggest draw despite all the signs that point to that being absolute rubbish. And whats worse is that htey consistently remind themselves of that and only listen to those that reinforces that thinking.

Its why we make fun of them.

Arsenal have had a crap start to this season, and are still better than the side that spent 130 million and and their fans told everyone they were challenging for a title. No Arsenal fan is happy about this season at all. But at this low point, we still have more points than Scouse Reds.

Also, Suarez was absolutely rancid for Barcelona yesterday.

It matters GREATLY.

With the possibility of the head-to-heads, and goals scored/ goal difference in those games being level; the overall goal difference could be critical.

The very LAST thing you want is to lose heavily in ANY group game.

Damage limitation, ala the second half at Anfield against Madrid a few weeks back when he went out with no striker; is the prudent way forward in that scenario.

Let me say again for the ill informed:

Over the 10 years, Liverpool have won twice as many trophies as Arsenal.

So while clowns like Joe will tell you L'pool live in the past, they fail to acknowledge recent history. Since 2000, only Utd and Chelsea have won more major honours in England than Liverpool Football Club. And nobody has had more success on the European stage.

One club consistently finishes 3/4th, but has little to no silverware to show for it. (Last years FA Cup win being their first trophy in a decade,).

One club has struggled by their own high standards in the league, but have won 4 major trophies through that span of Arsenal nothingness including the biggest prize of all.

And even in the league, Liverpool have had higher finishes (twice second, twice third) over the past decade than Arsenals one second and three third place finishes.).

So try telling us again how Arsenal are a better option for silverware by virtue of top 4 finishes that lead to absolutely nothing.

Seriously, you boys need to make sure you have your facts in order before spouting complete bunkum.

as someone partial to both clubs for different reasons I found the Robben flop to get the penalty highly annoying(two players fighting for the ball is not penalty). Ruined a great game. Both teams put a nice show despite the record difference.
