Sticksboi05
And Kenan and Kel was a whole 10-15 years ago :yikes: 1996-2000 I used to love when he'd say ORANGE SODA!
KingGibbs
I thought that is why you quit coming to the games, because you couldn't afford both. ps You are never too old not to wear a jersey either. No. I stop going to the games because of the fact that you are taking Viagra and every time I turned around you were right behind me. Frightening. BTW. Love the picture of the "original" ES tailgate. No way that inaugural year can be replicated. Great, great times. I miss the old spot to.
9_to_42_td
BTW. Love the picture of the "original" ES tailgate. No way that inaugural year can be replicated. Great, great times. I miss the old spot to. Yeah no kidding and pee hill was very convenient. This will probably be my last year also. All this parking BS and new fences make me feel like I am at work and is starting to be a royal pain in the *****. Plus, very few originals are left. CrypticVillain
Forty is the new twenty. And twenty is twenty. Which means I am forty and you are twenty.
techboy
I still have a lot of time left, half a life almost by statistics, but I know "my youth" is being left in the dustbin of history each day that I age. Probably more than that, really, since those average ages of death are being set by people born long before us, and our medical care is better, and will be in the future. Unless the Democrats screw us all.
royallypwned
Forty is the new twenty. And twenty is twenty. Which means I am forty and you are twenty. If you are 20 and 20 is 20, how are you 40?

Ax
Fifty. Feels a lot better than I imagined it would when I was 18. I can do everything I could when I was twenty. I just sometimes take longer breaks in between. Regret, is a useless waste of time. Only the living ***** and moan about getting older.
mbws
Alright, I actually turned 40-years old a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to post something then, but apparently senility kicked it and I forgot to do that, so I will do it now. Welllll, Good for Youuuuu!
abdcskins
Yo man I hate getting older too, I turned 27 on 8/14. I feel that I am able to do less and am not able to get younger good looking girls anymore(because that is all that matters haha). It is an irrational fear that we all have I think. But just remember that no one can escape aging, it is part of life. You can still have as much fun as anyone else, all it means is you might not have as much energy as 22 year olds or whatever. There is so much you can do. Life should be cherished, so approach every day as a new adventure. And Happy Birthday!
[[ghost]]
I honestly don't think I'll make it to 20. And I've only got about 2 months to go. Be happy you've made it this far. At least you don't feel like you're 40.
Burgold
It was a weird one for me too. I don't know why, but this one hit me much more profoundly than any of the others. Before this, it always hit me when someone else turned a big birthday. Seeing my parents turn 70 was weird, but me turning thirty was nothing. Knowing there are people in college who were not even born when Star Wars first came out was crazy, still is and now, those whipper snappers have probabably graduated. This year was different. I can count a whole bunch of blessings and a few curses, but I'm not sure how my life tallies out. I like it well enough more days than not, but there are big things I am missing too. Anyway, given that I got to this thread a day late. Happy being over 40!

matty dread
You know 30 really didn't bother me much. The thought of 40 kinda creeps me out though. Life is basically half over. *Shudders* I always wonder about the thought process of someone who is in their 60s or 70s. Do they think about death much? Have they come to accept that it's coming close? Are they satisfied with the life they have lived?

For what it's worth, the 30s have been my best decade by FAR. I'm not dreading my 40s at all. Of course I haven't hit 40 yet so we'll see.
