Just got done watching Rounders for the billionth time and was wondering why they never made another one...

At the end,Matt Damon(Michael) gets in the cab and the driver asks him..."Where are you heading"...as Michael replied..."Vegas"....

Why didn't they make one where he faced that card Champion johnny chang...or whatever his name his...?Afterall....He was going to Vegas with that 30,000 he took from KGB?(actually 60,000,but he had debts topay)

Do you agree, they should have made a sequel?

..And what other movie should have had a sequel?

There was a sequel.

It's called the World Series of Poker on ESPN.

There has been a Rounders II, Rounders III, Rounders IV ... it's pretty much like Rocky at this point.

One movie that I wish had a sequel: Blade Runner. Is he a frakking Cylon or isn't he?

Hard to say. Bad sequels can add a sour taste to a great movie. Terminator 3, Batman Forever, even Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and 3 ruined the aura of the original. Which is blown off by most people, but is actually one of the best movies of the 90's.

I would have loved to see a Bloodsport 2. I know the original was based off a true story, but who gives a ****? Make him go back and defend his title against a whole new string of fighters. The guy the movie is based off of sued the filmmakers, so they'd probably get in even deeper water by making a sequel. Tis a shame. Van Dam had something going there. Like a mini "Rocky", with MUCH better fight scenes.

Debbie Does Dallas II:

The Palimony Suit

Envision a dozen uncomfortable looking guys in a courthouse as Debbie's lawyers grill them. They had a night of fun, but one of them became a deadbeat dad. Will one of them man up and marry Debbie. Michael Irvin co-stars turning in a performance of a lifetime as he breaks down before Judge Judy. Declaring that he can not be the baby's daddy because after all that cocaine his junk doesn't work..

From Justin to Kelly.

okay okay okay...

I second the comment for an Anchorman sequel. Love that movie.

It'd be interesting to see a sequel to The Rock. Although the ending was just about perfect in how Cage's character finds that informaiton in the church pew, it'd be interesting if they took another hostage situation (terrorists, probably) and Sean Connery's character was back with the British intelligence agency helping out the Americans.

I'm pretty sure there are Debbie Does Dallas sequals...at least that's what I heard once apon a time.... :silly:

In the same vein though, maybe a sequal to the Nero movie of the 70's(not sure if this it the Roman movie I'm remembering as it has been a while since I watched...er heard of such movies) . I don't think men would get as upset now as they did then as now all porn stars seem to be well endowed. Personally, I think the hole genre could do with re-introducing the idea of a plot in the movies. At least I think I heard that movie had a plot... ;)

Seriously, I'd like to see another Sin City or Serenety (Firefly) movie.

I would like to see decent sequels made for The Matrix, the original Star Wars Trilogy, The Godfather I & II so we can forget the crap that really was made.

Matrix sequels need to be entirely scrapped and done over.

Godfather too.

I like Revenge of the Sith for the most part, and some elements of Attack of the Clones. But re-do AOTC, eliminate The Phantom Menace altogether, and add a sequel to Return of the Jedi.
