Spaceman Spiff
Interesting. Anyone who's just a freak of nature and excells at baseball past a certain age is automatically a sterioid user. There hasn't been anything as strong as Bonds' link to steroids that links Clemens to them.
expensivegift
I just saw it, sucks the Nats don't have interleague with the Yanks this season. I don't want to go up all the way to Baltimore.

Walking Deadman
In the age of 'Roids I can see why some people think this about Clemens. But, I don't buy it b/c we don't see Clemens pitching night after night in non-stop 9+ innings. In his defense, Clemens hasn't bulked up over the years like Bonds/Mcguire did. Clemens (as far as I know) doesn't have connetions to Balco like Bonds did. And Canceco has stated that he was never aware of Clements being linked or using steriods unlike a bunch of other players that he knew. But it sucks that he had to go back to the Yankees....... I can't stand them, the Dallas Cowboys of MLB

NoVaSkins21
Clemens is MLB's version of Brett Favre:yawnee: Couldn't agree more. Like Favre, he holds a franchise hostage by dictating his own terms.

RyansRangers
aint gonna help them, one win every 7 days starting in July wont help. They will be 18 games back by then I know thats over the top but I hate them and the sox
f_trizzy
Unless he can pitch for them every day he's not going to help. 28 million dollars to still miss the playoffs. **** Clemens, **** Steinbrenner GO SOX!
d0ublestr0ker0ll
The last thing the Yanks need is a 40+ year old. They need to trade some of their big names at the plate and invest in to some pitching. It's just how you win these days.
Drockvb
Clemens is a jerk. I have no repect for him. He acts all professional and stuff, but i can see through him like a sheet of glass.
bcl05
I agree about the roids. He was an all-time great pitcher in his 20's, became merely an all-star in his 30's, i.e. age-appropriate decline, and then became even better than in his 40's. Sorry, no-one has ever really had a career trajectory like that other than Bonds. Plus, he's huge, and has a giant melon of a head. Sound familiar?
