  1. In the comic each month they have a section where Robert Kirkman responds to letters that people send in. A little while back someone basically asked this same question and he alluded to the fact that he really has no end point in mind for the show yet as far as number of seasons go. He also said he didn't think comic-wise he would be able to tell his entire story in 500 issues. To give you some idea how crazy that is, issue 124 is coming out tomorrow and it's taken them over 10 years to get that far. Also, to give you a point of reference for where the events in the show are compared to the comic, Abraham and his crew make their first appearance in issue 53. Trust me, I don't want to see Rick go either. Hopefully I'm just reading too much into it. All that being said, if they built up this much hype only to kill off someone like Bob, Sasha or Beth, I'm going to be seriously disappointed.
  2. I agree 100%. The only death that would truly shock me at this point would be Rick and the more I think about it, the more I'm starting to believe it will be Rick. Just the way that the season has been broken up, following a different group each week has me wondering if it wasn't done to take away our focus on Rick as the "central character". Especially because there really has been very little focus on Rick this season, the main exception being the scenes of him dealing with the marauders in the house. The fact that Andrew Lincoln is on TD this week is definitely raising my suspicion even further. To my knowledge this is his first appearance on the show after 4 seasons and I don't believe they've had a TD "farewell" yet this season, which we've become accustomed to in the past.
  3. Theory going around that the paintings Michonne found earlier in the season may be tied in to Terminus. More at the link.
  4. Cherish those early seasons because it pretty much goes downhill after season 4. Season 5 is lackluster but tolerable, 6 is garbage, 7 is actually very good and then 8 is more garbage. IMO of course
  5. Interested to see if the group Daryl is with are the ones hanging the signs on the dead bodies. We also have yet to find out who slaughtered that camp of people the Gov. and Martinez found in the 1st half of the season. Maybe there are multiple groups at work?
  6. When I read that I just laughed in disgust and shook my head. What makes it even more ridiculous is the completely random Abyss tie in. The same with Bully Ray being the "guest referee" for the Lethal Lockdown match. Do they just sit around and say "who doesn't have an active storyline? Let's find a way to throw them into the mix!"
  7. Lockdown is pretty much the 1 TNA PPV I would alway buy but I ended up passing on it this year and after reading the results, I'm glad I did. Did Russo make a cameo for the Joe-Magnus finish? I also read that they pretty much ruined Jeff Hardy's Willow character within the first 5 minutes of the match. I've been following TNA on and off for a while now and have been watching Impact pretty faithfully for the last 2 years or so and I agree that this is by far the worst their product has been. I won't be surprised if TNA is gone by this time next year.
  8. Have you seen Blue Velvet? If not, check it out.
  9. I thought it was a fitting ending for the style of movie they were going for. I think they could have done a lot more with it though if they wanted to. But you are right, it kept me wondering "what the hell is this thing under the ice"? I liked the little swerve too with making you think Rosa survived and was giving her personal account to the camera, then you realize she is making a video diary while still on the ship
  10. So what upcoming shows are you all going to be checking out? I have 3 right now that I want to watch: Those Who Kill A&E Monday 3/3 @ 10 PM Resurrection ABC Sunday 3/9 @ 9 PM The 100 CW Wednesday 3/19 @ 9 PM
  11. I don't know how I missed your review only a few posts before mine lol.
  12. My bad, was just speculating on who those guys were (might end up not even being related to the comic for all I know). To be safe, I'll refrain from any reference to the comics from now on.
  13. Went to see Robocop on Friday. I don't understand the terrible reviews it's been getting, I actually liked it. I think too many people are going into it expecting an identical remake of the original, which it definitely is not. I actually found myself more involved in the story than any of the action scenes (which I guess might answer my own question as to why people have been hating on it LOL). I also watched Europa Report on Netflix this weekend. If you are into sci-fi/space thrillers, it's worth checking out. Basically it's about a crew that gets sent on a mission to one of Jupiter's moons (Europa) after evidence is discovered that suggests there may be signs of life there. Of course things go awry along the way, all of which is documented on cameras mounted throughout their ship. It's not a typical found footage film though, as there isn't very much (if any) shaky cam involved.
  14. Are you talking about the dudes that were in the house with Rick? I was under the impression that they were going to be the TV version of the Hunters.
  15. I'm soon going to be finishing up Dexter on Netflix and have already watched Breaking Bad, so trying to decide on which show to start next. Anybody recommend Burn Notice? I was considering starting that series but at 100+ episodes I want to make sure it's worth my time before getting invested in it.
