^Thats taking the act a little too seriously. Thrwing beer? Geez

Yeah, it was crazy.  My best friend is 6'8" and this one grown man (late 20s/early 30s) was drunk and started talking **** to him.  Remember, we were in college so my friend was 22 and I was only 21.  I don't know if you ever have been to Charlotte, NC and attended any events at the original Charlotte Coliseum (also known as Independence Arena), but the capacity was right under 10,000 seats.

Well, we had the back row of seats in the lower bowl.  It was set up to where standing at your seat, there was a little over a foot of a wall behind you, the walkway between the lower and upper bowl was there, so if you were standing on the walkway, you were roughly one foot taller than the back row.  Well, the guy starts talking **** to my boy and he's looking him dead in the eyes (guy was only around 5'5" or 5'6".  His friend completely saturated my other friend with beer, so he got security and they threw the guy out.

Being angry that his friend got tossed, with the bill of his hat, he head butts my 6'8" friend (he was so drunk, he mixed up friends).  My boy grabbed him by the shirt in his chest and flung him across the walkway, he smashed on the guard rail and fell down.  He then, Kevin Nash style hurdles his guard rail (like Nash coming in the ring stepping over the top rope), grabs the guy by the throat with his other fist ****ed about to lay him out and security swarmed the drunk guy and kicked him out.

They had seen the guy assault him first and were cool about it.  Well, I went out to get a beer and ended up getting behind the cops and the drunk fan, and he was resisting, so they had him in a ****ing arm bar escorting him out, so he was looking back as they walked forward, so I started laughing at him, flipping him birds and ****, making him resist more.

I couldn't make this **** up if I tried man lol.

It still wasn't working for me last night, but I got an email this morning saying they were taking the network down for maintenance this AM, so we'll see WAY later when I watch it.

Anyone going to watch NXT's live special tonight? Mostly WWE-ready/WWE talent on the card. I think three matches:

Bo Dallas (NXT Champ) vs. Adrian Neville for NXT Title

Paige (NXT Women's Champ) vs. Emma

Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro

Should be interesting. I've watched very little NXT and I am vaguely familiar with a few of their stars (everyone on the card I know of) but it'll be fun to see how it plays out.

I've only seen Cesaro wrestle a few times, but I absolutely love the guy. It's so refreshing to see actual wrestling moves. I can't remember the last time I saw somebody do a fallaway slam (Razor Ramon?). The dude can wrestle.

Check out his 2 out of 3 falls match at the end of the This is NXT show.

So what did you all think of Hogan's return? I thought it was about as lame as they could have possibly made it. The first problem is that they should keep it a secret, until his music is blaring and he's walking to the ring. Imagine the buzz we'd still be having, and the priceless video we'd forever get to watch of him making a surprise entrance. Secondly, he was doing his best Billy Mays in there, trying to sell something hard. It was painful to watch, he just kept repeating how excited he was about this new WWE product. I turned it off before he finished. How Hulk Hogan returning to the WWE didn't create more buzz is beyond me.

I'm gad I took advantage of megavideo when I did. WWE Netwrok will take off, but I don't know how it can beat what Megavideo was doing. Virtually every WWE/WCW/ECW/NWA match, every Shotgun Saturday Night, match, every Raw, every Smackdown, every Heat, every Nitro, every everything.

I don't know how they did it. And not just that, but movies and tv shows. I freaking lived off of Megavideo for months, until it was shut down in early '12. I would pay $30 a month for something like that... Easily.

I hope Vince goes hard with this. If they can give the people what they truly want, this will become a gold mine

Yes. He could return a few more times, and it would still be a big deal. Or it should be. We don't have time for surprise returns? They're some of the best moments in wrestling. Guess they gotta make room for their honey boo boo ****.

I'm afraid Sting is gonna be the last great surprise. He's by far the biggest name to had never stepped into a WWE ring.

I totally agree that it was lame and painful to watch. But they didn't have much of a choice to reveal it after TMZ posted a story about Hulk not only returning but also being the host of WM30. They decided to get in front of it rather than "surprise" an audience after a story had been posted several days before.

Also, since  they advertised him returning, it would've been nice if he had any impact other than just announcing what they already announced in a press release. Talk about disappointing.

I like the taped vignettes with Paige and Emma. Although Emma can't act very well, it's fun to see the build similar to the way UFC does it. I wonder if Hunter is giving it a test drive on NXT to see how it pans out and if it works, bringing it to the main stage.

Im loving this channel. Well worth my $60. Cheaper than paying just for Wrestlemania, and I get............Wrestlemania for free along with 4 more PPVs. Vince has really out done himself. This is a huge gift to the fans that can afford it and have the access to reap the benefits from it.

You'd be a fool not to order it if you order 1-2 ppvs a year. You get all of the ppvs + anything you want wrestling wise for the same price two ppvs cost.

So my review of the parts I saw: THERE ARE SPOILERS. DON'T READ IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.

-Loved the way they set up the matches UFC style. They had their wrestling gimmick schtick, but they also showed "respect" for one another. That will help out when there is a feud building that is based on actual bad blood and there is no respect shown. It had the more "real" feel, versus a scripted wrestling match set up.

-William Regal stammered a lot, but he SOLD what was going on. He helped the wrestlers tell a story. Kudos to him.

-Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn (My current 2014 Match of the Year) - There was excitement from every turn. Both guys found offense in very unexpected places. Zayn is an athletic animal. Cesaro is worthy of the hype. He is, 100% a future WWE Champion. He just has to find a gimmick that fits.  The buildup for the match was great, too. You could tell there was bad blood the way these two sold it. Regal kept saying the whole match, "Zayn is incredible. You can't keep him down! We know Cesaro is good, and he's proving it, but Zayn is a virtual unknown and he is truly just fighting for Cesaro's respect! It's incredible" or something along those lines.

At the end of the match, Cesaro smiled a ****y ass smile at Zayn and climbed out of the ring and up the ramp after he scored the 1-2-3. Zayn sat against the ropes. Tired, beaten, distraught. Cesaro turned when he was halfway up the ramp and started walking backwards. Finally he paused and started back towards the ring. He stood over Zayn, who looked up at Cesaro with a look like, "great. What else are you going to do to me? Do what you have to." Cesaro reaches down, grabbed Zayn by the arm and hoisted him up. Then Cesaro did something pretty much no one would expect the Cesaro character to do... He hugged Zayn and whispered something to him. Zayn looked legit (non work) happy with what Cesaro was saying (I'm sure it was along the lines of, "holy ****, you can go. I look forward to seeing you in WWE."). Cesaro exited and Zayn was left smiling in the middle of the ring.

If you have to watch one match from this card, this one is it. The seeds are planted for a Cesaro face turn in the near future as well.

Mojo Rawley vs. CJ Parker

ZzzZZzzzZZZzzZZZZ. Rowley is a typical big wrestler. He's fairly athletic, but his finish stinks. Parker has promise, but the match was too short to tell.

Ascension vs. Too Cool (Tag Titles)

The Ascension is awesome. Great finisher, true tag team. They are what the WWE needs. The announcers sold the Ascension's "Scorched Earth Policy", where they take out anyone and everyone.

Paige vs. Emma (NXT Divas Title)

Steph came out to introduce the divas. Emma put on a match unlike we've seen in WWE with her thus far. I'd say that it helped that her opponent was Paige and not Summer Rae. Paige is awesome. She and AJ Lee could have one heck of a WWE feud, and I'm sure that's something that will come into play. Emma has serious ring skills, although her acting skills need work. But with her gimmick portraying her as goofy, it may work that she doesn't need the skills. Excellent match. Better than pretty much any diva match I've seen in awhile. When these girls get up to WWE and take on people like Tamina and AJ, the divas division is going to show some real quality to it.

At this point, the feed began to cut out. I missed the Tyler Breeze vs. Xavier Woods match, though from what I understand the match didn't really take place because Rusev and Lana interfered.

Bo Dallas vs. Adrian Neville Ladder Match for NXT Title

Missed a good portion of the match due to the feed going out. But, I caught the end. Neville is STUPID athletic. Dallas looked a lot better in this environment versus in the WWE. The character Dallas is playing now, in NXT, fits him better. Always smiling, ****y heel, but with a tinge of weakness in how he carries himself. I like it. Good match. New NXT champion as Neville hit a crazy spot off the top rope onto Dallas' body which was laying on a ladder. He then climbed up for the win.

The Future

Neville (smaller wrestler), Zayn (smaller wrestler) seem to have EXCELLENT futures in the WWE. At the very least I could see them being in the mid card competition, and perhaps elevate further. They aren't big guys, so WWE Title, right now, may not be in their future given McMahon's penchant for larger wrestlers. But these two are GOING to make a LOT of noise in the E if they book them right.

Emma and Paige are the future of the divas division with people like AJ and Tamina. The Divas future looks quite bright.

Cesaro was the break away star as far as WWEWH Title implications go, as he should have been. He now has some season in the E and he looked excellent. Zayn helped him look even better. Those two have ridiculous chemistry. Zayn sold moves so freakin' well. Just the way he fell and let his body fall into weird, lifeless positions.

Mojo Rawley has a meh factor to him.

Bo Dallas has a future, too. I like him. His gimmick is getting better and better. I think his loss means we may see him in WWE sooner rather than later.

I have only watched the WWE Network on my PS3.  On that, I have my internet connection hard lined from the router, it's cable modem with 30 mb down/5mb up, not using wireless.  Live streams perfect.  As posted previously, the only hiccups I have is when I fast forward through an archive PPV.  The interface on the PS3 is ok as far as listing out the content (I'll get to that in a min).  The best feature (when its available) is when you are watching an old PPV, it has certain spots marked on the playback progress bar and you can jump to the next match and it doesn't seem to have buffering issues.  When the progress bar is just solid and you are blind fast forwarding, going too far ahead gave me rage cause it would freeze up/buffer what felt like 20 times while it caught up.

Now, for the first time, last night when I went to bed I decided to put it on WWE Network through my Apple TV in my bedroom using the TV sleep timer so it would turn off.  Upstairs in my bonus room, I also have a DSL connection (the cable connection is downstairs and used for work as I work from home).  The DSL connection is only 12mb down/0.75mb up.  The Apple TV is connected wireless.

So, first, the interface for the WWE Network app on the Apple TV is 100% better than the PS3.  When going through content, it groups the PPV events by brand, then by year, then lists them in order with the original air date.  I know some of yall are thinking, big deal.  But its just so much easier and I don't remember the exact order of all the PPVs, especially the WCW ones from the 1990's.

Streaming live content was flawless (just like the PS3).  Then I put on the King of the Ring 1998 to watch the Hell in a Cell match.  There were no hot spots on the progress bar (like some of the content on PS3), just the regular progress bar.  I fast forwarded to the end, it played almost immediately, zero freezes/buffering.

I haven't tried it on my Xbox 360 yet, and have read the issues that DM72 posted.  Which really doesn't surprise me that they are having issues.  Out of every media device I've used to stream content (Netflix, Amazon, etc.), its always been the worst on my 360.  Maybe it has to do with the fact its old school with the wireless adapter and not hard lined in.

I'm not saying go out and buy an Apple TV, but if you have one and haven't used it for the WWE Network, I recommend it highly.  Best quality viewing overall so far for me.  I'll try and see if any of my other blu-ray players have the app and see how good those work.
