Just gotta use twitter properly

Someone asked if I had any twitter followers. The answer is yes, but barely anyone follows me because all I do on my twitter is tweet a bunch of inside jokes that no one on this forum would understand. :(

I will say this, you aren't using Twitter properly if you aren't using Tweetdeck. Always refreshing your pages just to get new tweets, smh

I barely used my Twitter until I used Tweetdeck. Now all the tweets just fly by on the right side of my desktop

Barely anyone follows a media person ?

Say it isn't so.

Are you taking a car to Hawaii ?

EDIT: Wait, wait, wait...You are a follower for recipes, jokes, and news ? Are you sure ? Are there potential female companions like people talk about on Craigslist ?

I tried to use twitter to get my daily NBA and NFL news but the app on my phone sucked massive balls and I haven't used it since. It's been stuck on the last tweet on my phone: Gerald Wallace close to being traded to Portland. :ols:

Stalking is probably more prevalent on facebook. I try to keep mine as low key as possible. Recently my friends and I discovered a pretty cool feature: private groups. You can create a group, make it so no one can see what's going on inside except the invited members. We just share everything we want to with each other on it without spamming our walls. Good way to communicate without having to worry about hundreds of other people reading it.

You don't break news. The media does and you do it 10 minutes after. People can already do that using websites and Facebook status updates.

Not necessarily. A lot of news and interesting side opinions get posted on twitter first by reporters.

Also it's easier to get updates there than to check every individual news website.

And then there's a lot of things on twitter that the media doesn't or can't pick up on because of a lack of interest on their part or a lack of access.

I agree.

The links just fly by on TweetDeck, can copy and paste at will :)
