'Ex-gay' therapist allegedly found soliciting 'hookups' on gay dating apps

A Florida psychologist who has compared homosexuality to obsessive-compulsive disorder and claimed that he could change clients’ sexual orientation through therapy was found soliciting “hookups” on gay dating apps, according to LGBTQ nonprofit Truth Wins Out.

Norman Goldwasser, clinical director of Horizon Psychological Services in Miami Beach, Florida, allegedly used the screen name “hotnhairy72” to meet other men on Manhunt and Gay Bear Nation. The Manhunt profile, which has since been deleted, includes several nude images that appear to be of Goldwasser and lists a number of interests, including “dating,” “kissing,” “married men,” “massage” and a series of more explicit activities, according to screenshots provided to NBC News by Truth Wins Out.

These guys deserve the initial shame, but in the end, if they are willing to admit the mistakes they made as far as the BS gay conversion therapy stuff, they shouldn't be shamed for being homosexual.  It is a tricky line to walk because they have likely caused great pain (or worse) to many people, but I wonder how much sexual repression they must have been dealing with their entire life to go down that road in the first place.

It's an easy situation to mock, but in the end it is just sad.

Agreed, absolutely no shaming for being gay. The self-hating behavior that hurts scores of other people just like you, that totally deserves to be shamed.

And yet, we all know.

1). The folks who threw thousands, maybe a million dollars or more at this therapist, will not even consider the possibility that they were wrong.

2). They will simply move their business to the next person in the yellow pages.

3). And they will reject this one therapist, not because he was literally abusing people (including children) for a "therapy" that doesn't exist.

4). They will reject this one, because he is gay.
