Elessar78
Sad day to report passing of a childhood hero. Rest in Peace, Warrior. Head back on up to that crazy space ship from whence you came. "The man born James Brian Hellwig, who earned a global following as professional wrestler The Ultimate Warrior, died Tuesday night,World Wrestling Entertainment announced. Hellwig was 54." http://msn.foxsports.com/buzzer/story/wwe-ultimate-warrior-dead-at-54-040814
KDawg
He actually changed his legal name from Jim Hellwig to Warrior. Just Warrior. After feuding with WWE for a long time, he made his return to the hall of fame on Saturday, Mania on Sunday and RAW on Monday. He passed last night. At least he got to put many of his demons to rest prior to his passing. Rest in Peace, Warrior. Childhood hero of mine.

d0ublestr0ker0ll
That video in the OP is AWESOME. I love how he held the belt up in front of his face.
SiCkSoULjA
The Ultimate Warrior was as big as Hawk Hogan at one time before his fued with the WWF. Sad its crazy how he made a return and made that speech like he knew he was sick and only had a day to live. Warrior was pure intensity and rage, one of my favorite wrestlers ever RIP Warrior
RVAbrendan
I just heard this news this morning - cannot believe it. He was just on RAW on Monday!!! Very sad news... it was said that Warrior was the WWF's perfect archetype for a professional wrestler, as far as physicality goes.
Old Bay
One of my favorites, too. RIP Warrior.

DM72
I'm in total shock. Remember seeing him in Rochester a few times. Not the greatest wrestler, but always entertaining. RIP Warrior.

CrypticVillain
His promo was good to. I kind of figured that was the last time I'll see him in the ring. Had no idea that's the last time I would see him period.
War Paint
This was his last appearance. It was on Monday night during RAW. It's weird how he talked about the legacy a man leaves behind after he dies, starting around the 1:20 mark.
DCranon21
RIP Warrior. After the his speech on Monday and the game, I youtubed some of his old matches and watch a couple last night before I heard of his passing.
Gamebreaker
This is so strange. What did he die of?
KDawg
This is so strange. What did he die of? All we know is that he collapsed. He really did seem like he was eulogizing himself on RAW.
Gamebreaker
All we know is that he collapsed. He really did seem like he was eulogizing himself on RAW. I know, that's why I'm just so shocked that he's dead. I guess we won't know for sure until an autopsy is completed, but I'm convinced he knew he didn't have much time left and that speech was his way of saying goodbye to his fans. StillUnknown
Warrior was my guy growing up, even had the Warrior wrestling buddy when I was kid. Wrestlers don't have a long shelf life. I'm actually amazed Ric Flair is still breathing.
War Paint
Here's a site that lists all the dead wrestlers. There were some wrestlers listed I remember as a kid that I didn't know died. http://www.deadwrestlers.net/
d0ublestr0ker0ll
When I was in 5th grade my friend died of cystic fibrosis. He'd come over every pay per view, I'd have 4-8 friends come over every big event. He was a really weak kid because of the disease, but he was extremely strong in his fandom of the Ultimate Warrior. That was his guy. Not Hogan, not Bret Hart, not Ric Flair, nobody else. Warrior was his guy, and he repped him hard. Lunchbox, shirt, backpack, it was awesome. Went passed his grave today and said "have fun watching the Warrior again, hope you have front row seats."
Captain Wiggles
I'll never forget the first time I saw him, SummerSlam 88'. Like everyone else I knew I was hooked from that moment on. By far the best match I ever saw him in was aginst Randy Savage at Wrestlemania 7.
