No, an eel enema won't safely relieve your constipation

A fellow was hospitalized in Xinghua, China after attempting to relieve his constipation by, er, encouraging a 20 centimeter long eel to wiggle into his rectum. Unsurprisingly, it didn't go well. The eel reportedly forced its way deeper into his body and into his abdomen. He was apparently "too shy to see the doctor" at first but the pain convinced him that he was likely in real trouble. A surgeon removed the eel, saving the man's life. Apparently, this is a "folk remedy" that is tried more often than you'd think.

Couldn't just go for the obvious "Chocolate coated eel-lax" could ya?  Had to give a jingle and visual that's gonna stay with me all day.

Thought you might enjoy the eel worm, er, I mean ear worm.

Let's be honest, this wasn't to cure constipation... gerbils must be hard to come by (no pun intended) in that part of the world.

The media seems to enjoy being bizarrely gullible at times.  Some years ago a family was caught with an endangered bear and the media earnestly reported that they had simply mistaken it for a dog.

What we need to do now is send an email to Tucker Carlson claiming how medical studies have proven this is a more effective treatment for Covid than Ivermectin.

Hey Republicans, the CDC under no circumstance endorses the use of eel rectum therapy for COVID treatment.

(There, that ought to do it. Mwhahahahahaha)

Psh, I bet the doctor is getting some pretty sweet kickbacks from the laxative lobby and big fiber. Think about it sheeple.

Big Fiber doesn't like it when you call them "kick backs"...they're "financial movements".  But you're totally on point: anti-eel doctors are totally getting financial movements from big fiber very very very regularly.
