NoCalMike Posted October 6, 2019 Share Posted October 6, 2019 The Green Bay vs Dallas game is a good reminder about the differences between an actual franchise QB that elevates the personnel on the offense and a middle of the pack QB who is surrounded by tons of talent and a good O-line. Dallas can mask Dak as best they can against maybe 75% of the teams in the NFL, but whenever they face teams who can do enough against their running game where it forces Dak to the be "the guy?" Green Bay is using him at what he is good at. I am sure they watched all sorts of tape to see where he excels. Being in coverage is not that. Now Green Bay also might have the luxury of having enough personnel worth playing that Preston can be used as a pass rush specialist sort of like the Redskins ended up using Trent Murphy for awhile. Jason Garrett buckling under the pressure of expectations crashing up against the realization that his team has only beat awful teams so far this season. They are lucky Green Bay hasn't totally run away with this game and is letting them hang in there due to their own mishaps. Who wants to bet this flag bails out Dallas?
