This might be his best game at least among the ones I watched. If I am the Lions, I'd take Simmons over Okudah at #3 even though Okudah looks like a slam dunk star. But yeah to me Simmons is Derwin James on steroids --a more versatile, bigger, faster version. Yet, I'd still take Chase Young over him with zero cognitive dissonance about it.  On the off chance they trade down, I'd want Simmons #1, Okudah #2. Love Lamb and Jeudy, too but I don't want a receiver at 5 or 6 everything being equal on a trade down. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Teams would have to commit more attention toward Young than they would Simmons..Simmons can easily be nuetralized,where Young can't..young will require double teams just about every play and that will free up someone else on that DL.
