The CFB fans will know him.  He won the Butkus and I think he deserved it over Micah Parsons.  Parsons can win it next year.

Damn, LSU just picked on Terrell on that series.

Terrell was great before that though.  Any chance he can make it to Round 3?

Looked like Terrell thought that was going to be a skinny post.

He’s been overly handsy and too aggressive on breaks all night. That time it looked like he was anticipating a skinny and then saw Chase wasn’t there and was beat for six.

Agree with you. Absolutely looked like he bit on the post.

I like his value in the second round, but I could see him being on the board 60-75.  6-2 and 190 isn't as rare this year.  Diggs, Dantzler, Hall, Henderson, and Johnson are all like 6-1/6-2 man coverage specialists and he's competing with them for draft positioning after Okudah and Fulton.

Because?

It'll be some order of Burrow, Tua, and Young IMO.  Four and five should be Simmons and Okudah.

Id argue against Okudah as a better talent. And maybe even Tua, depending on his injury status.

But Burrow and Young are going 1-2.

Giants are a wildcard.  They need O-line and could take Thomas, Wilfs, or Willis.  Jeudy might be enticing as a way to form their version of the triplets.

Tua won't know how he's healing for 4 more months.  Otherwise, yes.

Okudah though, I disagree.  Simmons is worth more on the field than Okudah.  You don't see guys like him in the NFL often.  What position is he?  You don't know because he can have a variety of assignments, and do them all well.  He's the chess piece that defensive coordinators would salivate over.

Simmons is a good player,But i think Young would have more of an impact.

For the Redskins? I’m not so sure. They have two or three guys that can get after the passer with their hands in the dirt. And they have maybe one OLB.

Simmons fills a void at OLB, slot corner in nickel and can play some FS as well. He covers the most holes and is the most versatile.

Young would absolutely improve the edge unit though. So I can’t and don’t want to argue against Young. He is a game changer. I just don’t think people should be discounting Simmons as an impact player.

Also, Higgins just ran that reverse like a man. Wow. Physical and fast.

I've watched a bunch of Simmons' games. This might be his best game at least among the ones I watched.  If I am the Lions, I'd take Simmons over Okudah at #3 even though Okudah looks like a slam dunk star.  But yeah to me Simmons is Derwin James on steroids --a more versatile, bigger, faster version.  Yet, I'd still take Chase Young over him with zero cognitive dissonance about it.

On the off chance they trade down, I'd want Simmons #1, Okudah #2.  Love Lamb and Jeudy, too but I don't want a receiver at 5 or 6 everything being equal on a trade down.

Simmons would help the edge play too.  He's going to keep being like a 6 or 7 sack a year guy in the NFL.  Very good supplemental edge pressure in addition to all of the other awesome stuff he does.

They're going to need to bracket Chase.  Jefferson can be covered one on one.

Terrell is a good player but Chase is a freak.  He needs help.

Teams would have to commit more attention toward Young than they would Simmons..Simmons can easily be nuetralized, where Young can't..young will require double teams just about every play and that will free up someone else on that DL.
