Warhead36 Posted July 19, 2020 Share Posted July 19, 2020 I'll worry about Scherzer when the games actually count. With that said, its not out of the realm of possibility that he starts to fall off. Even if he does though, we got five PHENOMENAL years out of him including a World Series win. He could be the worst P in baseball the last two years of his contract and he'd still have been worth every penny(if not underpaid). But it was a small tick downward vs Cy Young award winning performance. One you expect with age.
