BTW, has there been any explanation why the Iowa caucuses are being held smack in the middle of the freaking Super Bowl?  Who managed that scheduling boner?

I know when I noticed that they were the Monday after, I thought that John Boehner's idea of making SB Monday a holiday was spot on. 😆

Keep in mind that

in 2008 Obama won Iowa and lost New Hampshire to Hillary.

in 2008 Huckabee won Iowa and lost New Hampshire to McCain and Romney (coming a very distant third)

in 2012 Romney tied/lost Iowa to Santorum, but won New Hampshire.

in 2016 Cruz won Iowa and then lost New Hampshire, coming in a distant third behind Trump and Kasich.  (Rubio who came in a close third in Iowa came 5th place in New Hampshire behind Jeb Bush.)   Hillary eked out a win over Bernie in Iowa and was crushed by him in New Hampshire.

Bernie's general election (if it happens) run being a referendum on "socialism" is not a knock on him, but a knock on the stupidity of the low information voter.   terrible US education system that only shows us at war with socialist countries and panic driven cable news
