They were allergic to getting back or playing any kind of D on the metro division team.. Didin't even watch the final. Boring anyway. NHL/NFL allstar games are good for putting people to sleep. Having to defend 1 or 2 superstars, with your team playing actual D, on a normal night is hard enough.. But 3 stars, w/o anyone trying on defense? Doesn't do the goalies justice.. They should just put up plywood blockers with little holes in the corners and 5 hole, and let the teams run up and down the ice showboating. And even when you think you have all the pieces in place, a little bad luck or mental lapse can wreck the year. Caps are due some good luck. Hopefully it'll show up in my lifetime.
