In an interview with The Associated Press, Barr said the Justice Department would support Mueller if he decides he “doesn’t want to subject himself” to congressional testimony. Barr also said the Justice Department would seek to block any attempt by Congress to subpoena members of the special counsel’s team.

There’s no indication that Mueller does not wish to appear before Congress. But he put lawmakers on notice that any testimony he gives will not go beyond his 448-page report that was released in April. At a news conference in May, Mueller said the team chose the words in the report carefully and that the work speaks for itself.

. . . and that's why I kept it hidden for two weeks while I pushed a false narrative about what's in it.

Barr: Mueller's Hill testimony would provide half of the public with facts for the first time.

at least 40% of the public doesn't want them, and will not accept them.

So is Biden right that Russian interference would not happen on his watch?  :ols:

CROWDSTRIKEOUT: MUELLER’S OWN REPORT UNDERCUTS ITS CORE RUSSIA-MEDDLING CLAIMS

https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2019/07/05/crowdstrikeout_muellers_own_report_undercuts_its_core_russia-meddling_claims.html

To save everyone time, this article alleges that there is no evidence that Russia actually meddled in the election or hacked/distributed DNC emails. Basically, the author performs 100 leaps of mental gymnastics to negate something that every intelligence agency and people far more qualified to do so have long verified.

The entire article is brain food for people who long surrendered their cortex for better things like conspiracy theories and voting for rapists.

Publishing false stories is specifically what Fox hires people to do and reading/seeing false stories is specifically why people choose to watch Fox.

The article twa posted is basically the Seth Rich conspiracy, that Hannity et al parroted and never walked back.

The brain rot in this country is very real. And like any good capitalist system, enough people have found a way to make lots and lots of money off of it.

The interview was contentious at first, according to two people familiar with the matter, but investigators ultimately found his testimony credible and even surprising.

So basically we can put the "investigate the investigators to find the reaaaaaaaal crime" nonsense to bed?

Absolutely. The Obama era internal DOJ watchdog is above reproach in the eyes of all those questioning the Dossier....
