It's amazing how many still claim that the Russia story is fake news. I wonder what percentage of people who deny it believe their own denials?

Tell you what. If that's the most substantive thing you have to contribute in this thread and any others like it,then I'd highly recommend not posting in them at all. That's the only warning you're getting here for the trolling.

The failure of Congress to hold him in contempt is incredible...but totally expected.

Privilege must be invoked by the President.  This quasi-privilege nonsense is absurd.

The benefit, of course, is that Sessions sings when information is exculpatory, and relies on his colleagues to not hold him in contempt when information is inculpatory.  It allows one to see pretty easily what is and isn't happening.  Sessions doesn't want a perjury charge so he keeps playing the game, but it adds threads to pull.

Sessions was definitely directed by Trump to hinder the investigation.  Trump is definitely guilty of obstruction.  Sessions probably told him no (or mostly no) out of self-preservation.  Sessions will go down, but he wants to limit the damage.

"Misprision of felony": Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

Michael Flynn is pleading guilty today to a charge of lying to the FBI.

He must have given something really juicy to Team Mueller in exchange for not being charged with all the other crap he did.

This explains why Trump has been having a mental breakdown for the past few days.
