Court hearing in one hour in Virginia on his charge of "making  false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements in a matter within the jurisdiction' of the U.S. government, including the FBI."

 

He is expected to plead guilty as part of a plea deal.

It's a plea agreement.

It's not unreasonable to think he's only getting this charge because he has something to offer them that is of more value to them.
