boobiemiles
I feel Matt Jones is an mystery. He fumbled 5 times in 169 carries, yikes. I like Arian Foster, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Reggie Bush. Each offers a proven track record. Ahmad and Arian run hard. Each one of these back will get injured, but they give MJ a chance to ease into the role of feature back. We just saved 3 million against the cap after cutting A Rob. Twelfth man
I would wait and pull in Thomas, Foster or Bush if necessary. No one worth cutting until we see how OTAs are going.
Panamon28
I would hold off making a transaction until just before training camp. ...if Jones/Marshall look good in OTAs...then add one of P.Thomas or J.Bell as insurance ...if it looks like Jones/Marshall are not likely to adequately fill RB1 + RB2 roles, then I use one of our 2017 draft picks and try to trade for someone stronger than Thomas/Bell (who I see as aging, versatile RB3s)
johnboy99
Is it really so difficult to find a serviceable back. Sure, we'd a'll love a transcendental back like a peterson, but that's highly unlikely What we need is a scheme fit to keep the d honest - but IMHO I do want a 3 down back
Morneblade
I'm not really worried about this, yet. Thomas was good down the stretch for us last year, so bringing him in would be fine if we need someone. I'm a big fan of Foster, but he's been very injury prone. clskinsfan
I wouldnt mind kicking the tires on Bush as a change of pace guy. Great hands out of the backfield and still has some decent speed. Bernard Pierce intrigues me a little as well. He got popped for a DWI or he would still be in Baltimore IMO.
justice98
Pierre Thomas is the only one I'd be interested. Reggie Bush too maybe, but he's coming off that injury, so I don't know what to expect or when to expect it from him.
Koolblue13
Poor Steven Jackson. The rams killed that poor man's incredible talent. He was like Matt Jones, but really good.
oraphus
Thomas has the best shot to get in since he knows the offence.. Foster - might be a name only at this point if he lost a couple of steps. Bradshaw - always liked him... good at everything..except for staying healthy. Most talented out of all the FAs Bell - wouldn't mind kicking his tires.. thought he ran well for Det when given a chance.
skinny21
I would not pull for signing Foster, but if anyone knows how to run behind zone blocking... Speaking of which... anyone have any idea how much power blocking we incorporated? Are we trending that way? Just realized that's a big blind spot for me. After some super mild research, looks like we did phase over to man blocking (still don't know if we kept some zone in there).

skinny21
I thought we didn't zone block anymore since shanah@ss went We kept it Gruden's first year, though he wanted to move towards man blocking and maybe utilized it a bit. Apparently once Callahan arrived we truly switched over.
SkinsGuy
Is Matt Jones really that bad? I don't think so. But I could be wrong. No, he isn't as bad as some want to make him out to be. Whether or not he can be the main back, we shall see, but if the team is comfortable moving forward with him as the #1 RB, then so am I.

BuhBuhBiggie
Jones will be a good RB for us, plus Marshall/CT should help carry the load as well.

CBass1724
A healthy Arian Foster is by far and away the best RB on that list. He's just never healthy. I want Pete Tommy to come back for us. He looked good last year and I love swing passes to RB's coming out of the backfield.
goskins10
If we "need" any of these guys then this is likely to be a lot less enjoyable season than I am hoping for. So my vote in None of the Above! But if we must, I would only look at Thomas or Bush. Foster can't stay healthy and has already lost a step. Bradshaw was never really that fast to begin with. Now he looks like snail. After that, flip a coin. Start with under 25s first.
