shakinaiken
So, division is locked up and playoff game guaranteed. How do ES'ers feel towards sitting the starters next week for a meaningless game? More beneficial to rest some limping starters, or play everyone to maintain momentum? RVAskins
I say we sit the ones who are hurting and not risk further injuries. Treat it like a final preseason game.
hail2skins
Maybe treat it like a preseason game and go with some starters for a half.
petedaddy
start kirk, rest anyone who's slightly banged up
shakinaiken
yeah, I'm leaning towards starters for a half, just to keep them sharp.
TradeTheBeal!
Colt could use the work. Just sayin...
Voice_of_Reason
If Trent sits, Kirk sits. Would be ridiculous to play Kirk behind a second-team line and possibly get him hurt going into the playoffs. And I'd sit Trent.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
Unless anyone is out injured, I'd always play them all. Never been in favour of resting guys and then having two weeks at least between games and the risk of losing game sharpness. Hail.
Duckus
I would sit Kirk, Trent, Matt Jones, Jackson, Reed, and Backmon. I would consider others, but those off the top of my head could use a rest and have all earned it.
Larry
I'd say it's not a matter of sitting the starters. No, you don't do that. Now, if you've got a player who's on the bubble, injury-wise, then well, your decision just got a bit easier.
Momma There Goes That Man
Unless anyone is out injured, I'd always play them all. Never been in favour of resting guys and then having two weeks at least between games and the risk of losing game sharpness. Hail. This is how I feel too. Id play them 3 quarters
NickyJ
I have an itching for Colt McCoy to pour some delicious salt on the Cowboys. If we rest ANYONE on our O-Line, I don't want to risk Kirk. Things are going too well for us to risk it, though as others have said, I'd play the starters for a half or so (DJax and Reed aside) to keep them primed. Hunter_R
Keep the momentum going. Unless they're injured, play 'em.
kgor93
Sit them. Give the starters an extra week to heal. As far as them being "rusty", it's no different than a bye week.
Bonez3
Spa day for the Redskins...Alert the practice squad. Did you like TW limping off in the 4th tonight? McCoy loves playing the Cowboys ... The QB spot makes decision easy. Backup QB makes sense, thus play all backups Rest full team...
petedaddy
Sit them. Give the starters an extra week to heal. As far as them being "rusty", it's no different than a bye week. and we were really sharp coming out of our bye
shakinaiken
I'm still in disbelief we're even having this conversation with one week to go. When's the last time the Redskins had the division wrapped up before the last game(s) of the season?

CurseReversed
I say let most of them sit. If they want to get work in, do it in practice. We have a chance to get the bye week that the top two seeds play all season for. I think we should take advantage of it.
squatch66
I say we sit the ones who are hurting and not risk further injuries. Treat it like a final preseason game. This. This team is growing every week and we need to keep up the momentum. The guys that can go, should.
acuratl1984
Play the starters for half the quarter, but I want to Rest Reed and Jackson.
petedaddy
i think momentum is important, while it is meaningless, i think there are a couple of milestones that can be hit that will give the team more confidence if they can get to a winning record, then they don't have to answer any questions about going in at 8-8 i think kirk getting to 4,000 yards is important and worst case scenario, they lose, then it's easy to just write it off as this game didn't mean anything
Stadium-Armory
Sit Trent, play Kirk for a half.
Chew
Play em for a half.
Warhead36
If you're healthy, you play. If you have any sort of limp/bruise/cramp etc, you sit. Cousins playing or sitting would be dependent on how many starting OL. I'm not throwing him out there behind a bunch of backups.
